It’s shown up in multiple crossings of descendants of a particular set of ancestors. That said, most of the people from the area I grew up in are children of related parents have no genetic issues (my mom is a ‘move-in’ so my parents aren’t related), but there are enough people with problems that I wouldn’t want to date/marry a cousin, even as distant as 3rd/4th cousins.

My mom would tell us that only boring people were bored. Thank heavens - we learned how to be interested and interesting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
