I read something about this. From what I remember, the guests are family and friends of the crew. They’re there for hours waiting to get served, but they go in knowing that. It’s pretty much all staged. Gordon is an asshole to everyone but it just makes for good tv....

It was called chivalry.....when everyone was polite. Men opened doors, pulled out chairs, helped with coats, gave up their seat....you get the idea.....and women were appreciative. Now....women are strong and don’t need no man! The women that think this way, get pissed if a man should do something polite for them. But then at the same time, get pissed if a man doesn’t at least offer that same politeness. It’s a conundrum.....

In my town yesterday morning, two men pushed an older lady down and took her money. In a busy grocery store parking lot. At 9:00 in the morning. Seems no time or place is safe these days. After their arrest, they confessed to several more petty robberies in town.

I used to be really thin. I quit smoking and gained some weight. I started working out pretty hard and gained some muscle. A taco place in my town (my favorite)went through the maggot scare. Someone said there was maggots in the cooked meat, then in the lettuce. I said there was no way live maggots would be in freshly cooked taco meat! And the employees are gonna let food go out with maggots crawling?? The health department would’ve closed them down! Someone said that maybe an employee was playing a joke on someone. Really....they’re gonna risk having the place closed for a joke.
