Good luck with your endeavor mate, I've been working on just not filtering myself and I'm definitely a much more fun, talkative person. I'm also better at one-on-one conversations because I let my curiosity lead me instead of being too worried to talk for the fear of being awkward the way I was before. Maybe give my method a shot, see if it works out. :)

I went out into the social field and tried out something new that I haven't tried before. I know this isn't a typical field report, but I just wanted to share the small victory I experienced from stepping outside of my comfort zone, in the possibility that someone else might be having the same dilemma I had of worrying too much what others thought.

Thank you for a very thorough and complete answer. I thought about what you said, being drunk relinquishing social filters, and tested out saying the first thing that came to my mind all day today and it worked out very well. I had good, fun, light-hearted conversations with all my employees…

Dude, I can honestly relate to this so hard. It's tough changing around family because they're so used to me being not very talkative and acting a certain way, I can't figure out how to change.

That seems like a great idea, I feel like talking aloud and having pretend conversations would be a great way to improve my social skills, I just need to find a time and place to be able to do it because I don't want to freak out my family. And I'm also considering joining the military because growing up I never learned a sense of responsibility and work ethics, plus the idea of being around a group of people that are stoic and conservative with words instead of being all energy and super-talkat…

Lost my virginity pretty early and have had sex pretty often since then. Really it's much easier and will come naturally if you don't try pursuing losing your virginity or viewing sex as a "goal" that you have to work to attain.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
