I still do not understand. In what way "women are rarely believed"? Does police refuse to investigate? Does universities ignore reports? Does rapist gets away even when it was proven? Could you point me ONE case? I think only ignored rapes are those of men. Men are discouraged to speak up, labeled and so on.

At Czech republic we have baby boxes at orphanages. This was introduced after dozen of infants were found in trash bins. Anyone can leave baby there anonymously, if nobody claims baby within three days adoption starts. After 3 months the adoption is legally done.

I have friend who follows this rule. He bought really expensive ring and propose. The wedding did not happened, so now he is stuck with ring which he tries to sell for last 5 years, nobody is buying even for quarter of original price. I think legal gender change could be the ultimate solution to men's rights. At least for foreigners who have to work in US/UK and want some sort of equal treatment. Just general advice, most of my friends very miserable because they were flooded with friends and relatives just after birth. It is nice to have two weeks just for yourself and baby. Also baby is very weak after birth. Its immune system is still developing for another 3 months. Evolutionary humans would give birth 3 months latter if mother would sustain it. Someone who just returned from visit in Malaysia can bring very nasty flu or something.

Just make sure to cut-off relatives around birth. It makes it much more enjoyable and is also important for immune system of baby. You husband should probably check his blood pressure at regular intervals. And get a few of those traveling cots and put them around the house. When baby starts crawling, you can just leave it there for a few minutes, and do your own things. Much less stress. Anyway good luck!

There was compulsory military service in my country until recently. Only men of course. During one year they could not teach you any substantial military technique. So mostly we just scrubbed potatoes and serve in hospitals as body lifters. Once a week there was training where we fired !two! bullets. I got better training in my paintball club. But it is bullshit that women can not serve in military. At worse they could serve in kitchen or hospitals as men do.

No incentives to get married. It is other way around. Government actually penalizes married couples. With marriage you would loose lot of income. Also single mum has it easier with social services. People are not stupid. They still have a children, but in a way which is allowed. I know several normal families with kids, but who will never get married.

I work with computers so it was probably easier. You have small chances anyway, so don't worry about what court will think. If it allows you to be near your child do it. Make sure you document why you did it. Also this could minimize your income a bit, which could mean lower alimony. Also do not be against your wife. Pregnancy affects lot of stuff. And there are good chances it will work out well.

I am in similar situation. My wife forced me to move to different country shortly after birth. Job wise I started new business which allows me to work remotely. I do not speak local language, so I started learning it. I would recommend to start recording everything. One day there will be custody battle and you want to maximize your chances.
