And /in general/ You can spout your nonsense until your fingers get fatigued. Literature and anecdotes from people whose male abuser were never prosecuted have your back against the wall. Your mind is made up and you’re unreasonable.

That was not a logical conclusion… at all. I agree with your sentiment about the possibility of feminists claiming anti-pedophilia is sexist in the context of women having sex with minors, but large scale studies and meta analyses show that males are the vast majority of perpetrators. It does not matter who is prosecuted for it, successfully or unsuccessfully.

There’s already a word for it: asshole. 😜

This is a good point, however I know I do this to my husband frequently. I don’t mean to. He does it to me, too. It’s a force of habit from each of us working with inept people. We’re used to needing to explain things in detail to employees.

Just yesterday, I had a conversation with my 13 y/o son that a man simply explaining something is not “mansplaining” and to never let someone accuse him of doing such. “Mansplaining” is fake and is really anyone describing a concept in an arrogant way. In a way that implies the other person is stupid. Women do it quite frequently.

Good point here. No need to attract a feminist female in 2022. I’m a 36 y/o woman. I can assure you that those of us who don’t identify as feminist are still for equal rights because, duh. We just don’t distort men or interactions with men as toxic masculinity, etc. I also don’t feel that I need to fight for anything because I’ve never felt oppressed. Quite the contrary; my femininity has been advantageous and I work in STEM.

I have other issues with my mom and can never be right. It is incredibly frustrating. Sorry to hear you suffer through it, too.

Funny thing about the dad example… her father was a stay-at-home-dad while her mom earns probably 300k at this point. There’s no logic sometimes. Or ever? You are right that women are emotional and let their personal experiences hold more weight than reality (we all sort of do). I am a 36 y/o woman, but hung out with my brother, a few boy cousins and her while growing up. Before he died at 21, my best friend was a male cousin. Maybe that also helps explain why I cling to this friendship. Don’t w…

She is also my cousin, and we grew up together. So, it’s extra painful to let her slip out of my life. Her views started to change when she went to college, as is common. She does know her audience and tones it down around me. I guess that’s the best it’s gonna get until—if ever— she realizes there is basically nothing for women to fight for (in the US and most first world nations).

Well I will admit that I was not aware of any of that.

Hm. Why do you say that about the first movement? There was a time when women “need not apply” and couldn’t vote (obviously you know this). I can sort of see where you’re coming from because some women took it to extremes of hating men, like you mention, but ultimately I think the movement did more good than harm. I wasn’t alive for it, but my mom was (not suffrage but the bra burning BS). She considers herself a “true” feminist, not a misandrist. She and I both feel equality has been reached at…

She really quite succinctly described why we hate modern feminism.

Well her username is LesbianPrincess, so, probably she doesn’t date men 😂

Sounds like people who demand the higher income brackets are taxed more. They don’t understand how percentages work. Or maybe they do but they don’t care because “it’s not fair” that some people have more money.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
