Laws are often in place to act as a guide for proper behavior. A law of this sort outlines that in general, teachers bedding their students is not wise, and may be potentially harmful. I see many comments here and elsewhere with respect to this case that the kid was not actually a victim. Perhaps not. Some say, "The boy had some harmless fun. So what? Grow up people!
