Did you just make up a scenario to be mad at instead of trying to find real examples? Why is this sub full of rage at hypothetical feminists instead of trying to actually figure out ways to advocate for men? If I were to try and construct a left wing masculinity this sort of post would by very far away from it. There is nothing actionable, there is not even any actual news stories to discuss.

No, I just said there were some uneducated men being made impotent through indoctrination into a useless ideology in which women are to blame for their problems. I realize that’s difficult for a lot of people here to understand, a lot of men’s rights places end up attracting “hurrr women bad” posters like the OP.

I see most men and women living happy lives together, but there certainly seem to be a subset of undereducated men who have been trained to blame women for their ills instead of actually understanding the societal forces that have led to the downturn in economic prospects for many men today. It’s so much quicker and easier to blame women and the best part is that it’s completely impotent and does nothing to actually improve the situation for men. It’s an effective tool for oppressing tools.

I’m 37, I have mentored high school girls in science recently, and I observe very little of what you do, although of course it is true that high school girls would not have been working on their biology projects to make sure they can become a scientist back in your day. You ignored everything else I wrote and instead doubled down on the fact that school aged girls are apparently scared of you and it’s my fault for questioning why that is.

You claimed that women in high school back then weren’t lesbians and that women today hate or fear men, as if you have a single clue about what a 17 year old girl today thinks about her male classmates. Of course she fears you if you’re interacting with school girls (even up through college), but from what I’ve seen of my nieces and nephews and cousins they are all over the place but all of them are dating people their age. What do you consider to be the defining characteristic of an MRA? To me …

Yeah, but it still leaves you emotionally stunted and incapable of having real relationships with women. Swapping your blue lens for a red lens is still viewing the world through a lens that's almost exclusively focused on sex and physical attractiveness.

Yes, it's a mindset that blinds you to all the women who aren't like that. You're viewing the world through a colored lens.

Many men don't have the male experience you claim to have. You try to reduce everything as a universal binary (AWALT, 80/20 rule for men, etc.). My experience does not fit at all with RP theory. Within my group of friends there were a few who were RP-minded, but most of us just went through a series of LTRs until we settled down. The RP-minded guys dated a lot but never found happiness in it. I'm not sure what the root of the problem is. Maybe RP is for the 20% of emotionally stunted men who vie…

Apparently it’s 48% are currently married, and 66% have been married. It’s fine, you can keep finding external factors to blame for your own shitty life and then you’ll never have to take ownership. So convenient to blame society instead.

My wife makes more than me and contributes equally around the house. In my job I am surrounded by professional women with good salaries. They are mostly married. I suppose they probably wouldn’t care for the misogynists here, which makes you think they don’t exist.

This thread is full of blatant misogyny, men who insist that women are incapable of being equal partners. As someone with an equal partner and who has friends who are in fulfilling relationships I wonder if I'm the odd one out or if most people in this sub are viewing the world through a red-tinted lens.

There were plenty of women who are acceptable by any reasonable standard, but the mindset espoused by most people here is so toxic as to immediately repulse good women. First, viewing all relationships through a lens that is almost exclusively about physical attractiveness and sex is already a major red flag. Next, the emotional abuse that is core to TRP theories used by people here will further limit the sphere of women available. When you look at the world through a colored lens don’t be surpr…

Well, that's bullshit. I know the women's group at a large corporation, and when they were tasked with one ask by the CEO, they came up with equal maternity/paternity leave for all employees. How many feminists do you interact with in real life versus the extremists that get focused on in this sub?

No, even higher SMV individuals risk getting fired if they go around sending female coworkers texts saying they just want to fuck, especially if those female coworkers are in a relationship. Of course, his actions are inherently low SMV actions, so it's literally impossible for a high SMV individual to behave like he did. A high SMV male would not continue to pursue a coworker in a relationship after she told him to leave her alone. Also, you'd be incredibly stupid to show compassion in a situat…

Holy shit your hamster is insane. Telling new female acquaintances with significant others that you just want to fuck them, via text, at 3:30 am, after they've told you that they have a boyfriend, they are not interested, and please don't contact them anymore, is completely abnormal. Dealing with harassment by first telling the person to stop contacting you and then telling your boss is textbook adult behavior.

Girl had a boyfriend, brought him up repeatedly, turned down the dude multiple times. Nobody is telling you to repeatedly hit on your coworkers with significant others. The dude in the post seems to have gotten a stupid case of oneitis after having some minor interaction with a female. He should have dropped her and moved on. Texting a coworker at 3:30am to say you just want to fuck her after she has turned down your prior attempts is beyond stupid.

The whole point of this sub is that girls are attracted more to the asshole douchebag than the whiny romantic sap. The point of the story was that some stupid girl went off and fucked around and thought that her beta would still be waiting for her, but the beta wised up fast, moved on, and found what he was looking for. Claiming that "Men are the romantic sex" seems a bit odd in this sub.

Nobody with half a brain could come away from TRP thinking that it's one community. You frequently and quickly resort to attacking those who criticize you. I pointed out an obvious way you could improve on your post: by pointing out how it's useful or how it can be applied. An emeritus professor who makes the most elementary mistake of conflating median and mean in his opening statement. The average must be equal, but the median doesn't have to be. I have a Ph.D in biomedical engineering, currently working at Stanford, and I've taken statistics a few times, obviously focusing on statistics involving human populations. That is literally the exact opposite of what the data shows. Moreover, your reasoning is full of errors. For example, you believe that all women systematically lie about how many men they sleep with, even in anonymous surveys, while simultaneously believing a few internet stories about women who have claimed to sleep with hundreds of men and the girls at your high school who were willing to boldly proclaim how slutty they were. Your own experience contradicts your firm belief. I don't think a gi…

Those are median numbers. You might be familiar with the difference in median and mean income in the US. The median is much lower than the mean because a relatively few number of people make an extreme amount of money. In other words, no sexual interactions are missing and you don't understand even high school level statistics.

It's actually exact opposite. The male distribution is much broader than the female distribution. The median male has 6.1 partners, the median female has 3.6 partners, but only 9% of women have had 15 or more partners. This 9% is responsible for the extra 2.5 partners the median male has had. Don't let facts get in the way of your ideology, though.

Why would you even be interacting with girls who have fucked 100+ guys at the point you knew her history? This is what I don't understand. Fewer than 10% of women have had more than 10 partners. Everybody should do what's best for them 90% of the time, and some would argue more. Find a girl who's parents didn't pay for everything, there are plenty of them out there. I should have clarified - it's possible to live a happy life without trying to have sex with women who exhibit unwanted behaviors. I'm in science, so most of the other women I interact with have PhDs and behave themselves professionally. I wonder if maybe I'm just lucky in that I don't have to deal with it. The problem with AWALT is that it's a generalization, and this means there are counterexamples, and it's possible to live a happy life without interacting with women who display the negative behaviors so frequently disparaged on here.
