In my opinion the hope is what fuels any date. I'd rather spend my time and money with my family, friends and pets or taking care of myself instead of someone that does not value me. I have the same motto for my friendships as well. Life is so short and you are worth the best!

Women get gaslighted very often, do not know how to recognize it and make a plan to leave the situation. You have lots of examples on r/narcissisticabuse And it is also abusive to get provoked and to have your rights to get mad and denied as a response. this is abuse. This and the Cassandra myth : the women that knew the future but was never believed, because she refused to sleep with a god. I face this daily at work.

Well this is another insteresting topic. As for me, I used to do the first moves on guys that were never reciprocated.. So after a short while trying I'd just give up and move on. A relationship with someone who makes as much if not effort as you do is so much pleasurable and easier. Oh and many people seem to think that FDS is a "let's be single" mouvement. It's not. It's just for you to have boundaries, healthy relationships and to not forget about your personal interests.
