Why don’t men go on “healing journeys”?It’s the best thing you can do! Rediscover yourself and live a little. Get out of the comfort zone. You’ve been living for x years in a marriage, go have fun for a while. | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/05/24 02:51 PM
I'm gonna divorce her, I'm just not sure how to deal with the in-between, current, and after.Move out. You need no contact. It is going to be damn hard brother. Been there 3-4 months ago. Haven’t yet finished the paperwork but been living on my own for 3 months now and you have to start spending time on your own with yourself and do what you love and I definitely recommend a therapist. It helped me! Heads up brother! I feel you! I am not 26 but 28 and been married for 4 and been together for 6 years. It’s tough but you’re still damn young. Life is ahead of you! 🙏🏻 | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/12/23 11:48 AM
Wedding ring after divorceThank you. I appreciate your honesty. I will not act based on anyone’s reply here, I was just curious. I will definitely let time decide. I do cherish the time I was married, although it now hurts, but it will always be part of my life. So I might store it somewhere safe. No, we don’t have kids | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/11/23 01:54 PM
Wedding ring after divorceSame, I think it is a waste of its value just to let it sit there if it doesn’t have any emotional value anymore. The least you can do is get some money from it for what the gold is worth🤷🏼♂️ | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/11/23 12:06 PM
Wedding ring after divorce😂😂 i was thinking about throwing it into the river too, but I am trying to protect the planet 😄 | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/11/23 11:13 AM
Do You Regret Your Marriage?First thing first, everything happens for a reason. I was in the same situation. Never really loved myself and have come with a lot of childhood traumas where my needs weren’t met, but then I found my wife and have gotten in love with her and she loved me very much and I then felt good about myself, but in the meant time as years have passed I lost myself completely… I suggest you go and learn to love yourself before taking such big decision to divorce, you could regret it later… and one last th… | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/11/23 11:17 AM
If wife wants a divorce, and very adamant about it. (I left the home also “she wanted me to”) but is willing or wanting to go to this marriage counseling. What could this mean or am I over thinking things.Try the counselling! There you will see her true intentions, whether she will really want to save the marriage or not! If she does and you do too, you gotta go all in for it, it’s one shot! And therapy helps, it can get straightened out if there is willingness from both sides. If she doesn’t, let it go brother. You can’t row a boat to the shore by yourself if the other is rowing in the opposite direction! Had to learn it myself the hard way! Take care and much love!🙏🏻 | /r/Divorce_Men | 25/10/23 06:45 AM
