I didn't know anything about that sub, so I checked it out. It's one of the 'supportive' communities, which means you may not rebut, counter, criticise. You may only validate. It's a feeble sub for weak arguments. Consider your banning a blessing. That's how I consider my banning.

Sorry for late reply; I visit Reddit irregularly. Separate cases involving Adsa, Tesco, and Sainsbury's in the UK. Back in 2014, over 7,000 female Asda retail store workers brought claims in the Employment Tribunal (ET) arguing that they were entitled to equal pay with male distribution depot staff, on the basis that their work was of 'equal value' to that of the distribution workers. The female retail employees wanted to compare their work to that of male distribution staff. Their roles were qu…

There may be. First offence? Plea deal dropping more serious charges? Remember, the claim is it's normal, i.e. the norm, to be sentenced 20 to 30 years for cannabis possession. If it is the norm, we should be able to identify easily the thousands - perhaps tens of thousands - of people serving these sentences.

That's one hell of a punch There are people who are killed by one punch. Either from the impact of the punch or from the resulting fall where the victim's head strikes the kerb or other surface. Many people think 'a punch' is no big thing. This is inaccurate.

20-30 years for weed possession in Louisiana is normal. Is it? I checked both Louisiana law and National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML). 1) 14 g or less - Misdemeanor - No possibility of jail time - up to $100 fine 2) More than 14 g and less than 2.5 lbs (first offense) - Misdemeanor - up to 6 months jail - up to $500 fine 3) 2.5 lbs and less than 60 lbs - Felony - from 2 years (mandatory) to 10 years imprisonment - up to $30,000 fine 4) 60 lbs to less than 2000 lbs - Felo…

Feminist used to mean "equal pay for equal work" It was 'same pay for same work'. For example, two public bus drivers, one of each sex, of the same experience working for the same employer driving routes in the same city and having the same job duties are to be paid the same. That's been long established in law and attained. Then there was a sleight of hand. At first glance many people think equal means same. But the employment laws state this is not the case. Two different jobs, i.e. not the sa…
