I love this reply. If more people understood that everyone is gonna have some degree of emotional damage and there is no mythical perfect partner out there, I think they’d be a lot happier in their sex / dating / relationship lives. Instead so many people have this ludicrous ideal that they’re aways chasing without even being fully aware of how irrational it is, small wonder so many people’s partnerings crash and burn time and again.

Nice try troll. Edit: Ok you ignorant racist fuck. The difference, as if you don’t already know, is that saying ‘brown’ is a descriptor whereas saying ‘browns’ is a way of lumping an entire group together as something other. It’s inherently dehumanizing and in poor taste, but what can I expect from someone who is preoccupied with whether they can throw N-bombs around or not?

Holy shit dude, not that I even agree with the spirit of what you’re saying but at least say ‘minorities’ or ‘people of color’ or something. ‘Browns’, are you fucking kidding me? Grow up.

It was in the thread where I first encountered this story, sorry but I don’t have time to dig through a week of my redditing history to maybe find the link someone posted. Basically it amounted to this girl being the first to press charges, not the first to be harassed.

True about the actual applications of those products, but we're discussing the way those things are presented in culture. As far as viagra goes, 100% of the marketing I've ever seen is geared towards sexual applications. It's always some silver-fox with his gilfy blonde wife sailing together, then cuddling and looking out over a meadow of flowers, then finally wrapping up the evening with some intimate red-wine sipping before walking out of shot towards (one assumes) the bedroom as the focus dil…

That woman you have decided deserves to have her life destroyed was one of many that creep harassed. The ‘poor lonely guy’ this thread is putting on a saintly pedestal had been hanging around and groping girls, sometimes without even trying to talk to them, for a while. He wasn’t some poor soul trying to reach out, he was a letching dickhead who someone finally pressed charges against.

This, one hundred percent. OP should read the wider context of that ‘shy young man’ before using him as an example. He had been harassing multiple women in the same spot over a period of time, sometimes initiating groping without actually initiating a conversation. Dude was straight creeping, however tragically awkward he may have been.

His ‘point’ consisted of reducing all e-women to being boner-providers while also somehow implying their bodies are dirty/inferior while still being hot enough to cause erections (???) then angrily declaring this makes them all bitches. He has no point to debate, just a lot of impotent rage if not literal impotence based on the resentment about people getting hard-ons.

A version of reality where him dismissing you as a ‘hoe with no value’ doesn’t come off as the sourest of salty sour grapes because he knows you and anyone else in their right minds would never in a million years consider him.

I mean, I’m a bloke and I just find it kind of icky. Maybe I’m letting myself get bothered by the phrasing, I just don’t see why it can’t be ‘we both enjoy doing nice things for the other’ rather than ‘the woman will do the cooking and she will be happy about it’.

It’s outside my worldview and value-system, but I don’t know anything about yours so it’s not for me to say. Fair enough if that’s your preference.

Would cooking because she enjoys cooking be acceptable or does she have to get off on doing it for you like it’s 1952?

Or you could just be like me and my girlfriend and have no problem acknowledging the attractiveness of a member of either sex to the other. I’m sure the inevitable counterpoint would be she’s off cucking me or whatever, but just for the record not everyone in a relationship is maintaining some insane facade of pretending their partner is the only person on earth and frantically doing domestic chores to earn forgiveness.

Well you kind of have to do that if you’ve put a sexually prolific lifestyle up on a pedestal to the point it’s basically a belief system. Trying to talk with someone deep into TRP or TBP honestly has a lot in common with trying to reason with a cultist who has cut ties with their family and given their assets to the commune. It’s too deeply woven into their identity to get anywhere.

A truthful answer might also be ‘because I have responsibilities I am putting off and video games are immersive enough that I can do that all day without feeling too much anxiety’. But that would require being very honest with yourself and acknowledging the need for self-improvement, whereas saying ‘I felt like it’ is basically spinning it into a neutral decision. When really it’s probably a coping mechanism hinting at underlying issues engaging in everyday life.

To be fair, the most famous literary usage of the word ‘prole’ was in George Orwell’s 1984, in which context it was an offensive or at least a very dismissive term. It’s a bit unfair to haughtily say ‘haven’t you heard of this [somewhat obscure] book?’ when there’s a much more well known one out there that you aren’t acknowledging.

Honestly, I’d say it’s a reward for politicians. Same way the Epsteins of this world get off on the power imbalance of raping children, I think a lot of politicians get off on flagrantly telling lies to idiots and being believed.

Guys who are salty at never having had the chance would. Honestly, we should have some kind of International Date An Angry Short Incel Day to give them a chance to see the grass isn't really that greener, maybe then they can find something else to obsess and project about.

Your response reads like you had your finger tensed on the trigger. Why bother posting if you have such a predetermined conclusion? Is it really so inconceivable that different people like different body types? Look at the vast range of taste and opinions people have about breast-size. Some people like a massive handful and some people like perky, just the same way some people like their partner to loom over them and some people like to be on a more equal footing. Do I detect notes of anger and …

Try dating girls who don't need to be bought. Go get ice cream on the first date or spend an hour cloud-gazing and talking. Different people respond to different things, and the kind of people who respond to expensive dinners and trinkets tend to make for shitty partners.

Except it's not just about perception after the fact. Making an effort in bed usually leads to more enjoyment in the moment. Unless a guy has a specific kink for performing inadequately and finishing alone, it's usually better to go the other way. An orgasm is like 95% mental, you can get way more intense and satisfying results through give and take in the bedroom. If I wanted a sad little ejaculation I'd look at porn instead.

It depends on what you want out of life. If you want to be a fuckboi then sure, it's the bees knees to be labelled as such. If you want to form a lifelong partnership, or raise a family, or achieve great things together, why would you ever recoil at being called a "great guy"?

It is funny how you generalize about women so much yet lack this fundamental ability to ACKNOWLEDGE them as people with interior thoughts who can form a meaningful and sincere romantic connection wherein they accept and love a man for who he is.

That's an insane series of events. Point 1-3 would play out that way if you were to sleep with one or maybe two women, or to demonstrate value by being in a relationship. If you just started plowing your way (literally and figuratively) through the entire club as described, or at least attempting to, everyone would take it very ickily and start trying to avoid you.

Truer words. I feel like 75% of the CMVs and observation posts I read here, I'm mentally already down in the comments going 'Oh yesss, let's see them tear this one up.' So many people just start from this insanely skewed perspective that one can really only reach through a lifetime of selective thinking and confirmation bias.

Basically this. Once someone is ‘out’ they’re out. The rest of the social group pulls together and starts throwing shit at them. OP, the incident you’re referring to unified online opinion that the bagel guy was ‘out’. So everyone came together and started throwing insults at him because it’s ‘fun’ to mock someone who is now othered when one is part of the dominant group. You’re confusing cause and effect, the mockery of appearances was made permissible by the initial consensus that the behavior…

I thought you were gonna say communication, though that’s a fair point about equal hookups too. The one somewhat successful open relationship I’ve encountered both partners would inform the other when they intended to sleep with someone, and they had ground rules about not suddenly jumping someone same day unless they were having an ‘off night’ where they booked separate places and slept with whoever. They were together quite a few years but ended up sort of drifting apart, it wasn’t quite mutua…

That’s excellent, let’s just jump straight to a racially-motivated conclusion about women’s sexual promiscuity and self-respect without factoring in the wildly different economic and social conditions a white woman and a black woman in America are going to experience. Tell us, when are you publishing your NYT-bestseller on phrenology and eugenics?
