This is actually a perfectly reasonable response to such disrespect. Women always kick their husband out the house for a few days or have him sleep on the couch if he offends her in anyway. Not him but I notice the same behaviour changes from myself. I believe that most people are extremely bad at communicating clearly and concisely. People who are good communicating are usually military-type people or people who have many years of professional experiences.
