1	"What Will We Concede To Feminism": UPDATE Sorry, coming back to this late. My mother was working at a bank. She had a higher credit rating than my father (who had tons of school loans unpaid). When they got married my mother paid off his loans with what she had in the bank, and then her credit cards came back with a notice that she needed her husband's signature to keep them open. 0	"What Will We Concede To Feminism": UPDATE When I got married no matter where I went I was firmly told that the wedding was "her big day". There is gender bias everywhere. This is a far cry, however, from the fact that my mother couldn't get a credit card after she was married because my father needed to sign for it. While social norms need to change, the laws are fine. The goals of feminism were to change the laws - and that has been accomplished.	/r/MensRights	03/07/13 06:44 PM
