I actually don’t think it’s true that men can separate sex and emotions. If that’s the case then why is it that men having affairs become less loving and more critical of their wives? And something I’ve wondered is if men are supposed to spread their seed, does that mean that kids weren’t meant to have fathers and that being a single mother is supposed to be the norm? That’s what the outcome will be if men are constantly impregnating random women.

This is also why I find it hard to sympathize with young men who complain about being lonely and not able to find a girlfriend. You become their person and this is what happens.

There are a greater percentage of women who are loyal to their husbands. Ironically, from what I’ve seen in real life, the better a woman treats her man, the more likely it is she will be cheated on and discarded. I assume you’re probably young so your peers are barely into adulthood, which would explain why they may still be immature enough to behave the way you’re describing.

I wouldn’t call that the wall. It just means that if you wait too long, a good amount of high value (not just talking about looks) people in your age range are going to be taken. You can find someone at an older age, but they’re more likely to have baggage you may not want to deal with.

As a woman, I guess I’m different and feel more hurt by being cheated on physically (though both are certainly bad). Sex is the one thing you share with your significant other that’s strictly yours. To think of my husband’s body that I know so intimately being so close to someone else on such a personal level sickens me. On top of that, he’s sharing lies and secrets with the other woman that he knows would damage you.

I think it’s highly exaggerated. Sure, there are random celebrities with women decades younger, but most average men are going to end up with women around their own age. I think it’s true that men have more options when they start to look and act less like boys and more like men. So maybe by their mid-late 20s. But beyond that, women aren’t going to be worshipping your existence just because you get older and increase your income. The higher income men I personally know are all with women their …

Best way is probably to find someone when you’re both young then stick with that person for life. That’s what people used to do.

It gets better! I only have one child (a 3 year old) at home with me during the day. Our oldest has graduated and the rest are in school. I feel like I can finally enjoy my family instead of always being in survival mode.

I’m 41F and he is 39. We have been together 21 years and have sex maybe 2-3 times a week. That’s been pretty consistent from the beginning. Since he’s often gone for work, we don’t typically have time for much more than that. He usually initiates. We are currently expecting our 8th child.

I’m 41 and have been married almost 20 years. Since we met when we were fairly young, neither one of us had been with anyone else. I always liked that it turned out that way. I don’t like picturing him with someone else. My husband seems to have mixed feelings about it. He has mentioned being glad that it has only been the two of us but has also admitted to being curious. Who knows what may have happened behind my back. If I were single and looking, I know it would be unrealistic to find someone…

Kids don’t make life easier, but they make life more enriching. I’m due to have my 8th child this winter.

Money doesn’t create an attraction that wasn’t already there. However, I do respect a man who works hard for his family whether he’s rich or not. Watching a man flaunt his expensive possessions does nothing to impress me.

I think a man is much more desirable and respectable if he can keep his mind focused on his wife or potential wife, so no, that’s not for me.

That’s actually kind of depressing. I’m not saying you’re wrong, as I’ve seen plenty of real life examples. It just seems like it’s unrealistic to expect a man to form an emotional attachment to a woman and that she’s just an accessory that can easily be discarded when it’s time to trade up. It’s like none of the experiences they shared matter.

Well, for one thing, I think life will go on whether you’re in a relationship or not. But then I also see that men don’t really appreciate it when a woman chooses them. No matter how good the women are, men tend to get tired of them within a year or two. Then they start looking around for “better” options. Though in their minds, better just means different.

There are wives who will have sex when their husbands wants it even when they aren’t really in the mood. I’m mostly indifferent about sex unless I’m ovulating (which is probably pretty normal). That doesn’t stop me from having sex when he wants it.

I turned 40 this year, and no, I’m not at all jealous of younger women. They don’t have anything else going for them except for possibly more men gawking at them. And really, what benefit do you gain from being one of 60 women a man gawked at that day? Sure, I may occasionally be nostalgic about my younger self who had a lifetime of opportunities to look forward to, more energy, and a slightly fresher appearance. Though that has nothing to do with how I feel about younger women. I have been marr…

You don’t have to marry anyone you don’t want to marry. It’s just unrealistic to have higher expectations for your significant other than you have for yourself.

You get it. If a woman is saving sex for an eventual long term partner, she deserves someone who will do the same for her. Whether he could get other women to have sex with him is irrelevant.

I just mean women in general. Some may care, but it obviously isn’t a huge issue seeing that the majority of men end up taken at some point. I have only had sex with my husband, who I guess is average. I’m not sure. I don’t really spend time thinking about the ways he could be physically “better”. Before I met my husband, the size of potential partners’ genitals didn’t cross my mind.

I think it’s one of those things that’s sometimes nice to experience but it isn’t everything. It’s like men who may admire a nice pair of breasts or a good butt but can be perfectly happy with a decent looking woman with average female body parts.

When I was single, some things that turned me off were: -Smokers -Dads -Unavailable men -Men who loved to party/drink heavily -Promiscuity -Men who didn’t care/were irresponsible -Unkind to people in general

Young people, both male and female, do tend have a fresher appearance than older adults. That is obvious. Most are able to look beyond that. When you go out in the real world, you’ll see that at least 85-90% of coupled people are around the same age.

I think the answer is simple. Generally, men are fertile every day while women are fertile maybe 1-3 days a month. Therefore, women’s bodies don’t tend to feel a strong desire to pursue sex outside of that short time frame. It’s even worse if the woman is taking hormonal birth control. How many female animals do you see wanting to have sex when they’re not in heat? It doesn’t happen very often. Same with human females. The difference is that women may want sex for closeness, connection, validati…

I thought men were supposed to crave variety. Doesn’t being with the same woman all the time make them sexually unsatisfied eventually, regardless of how much sex they have with their wives?

I don’t think women regularly seek out short men, but if a man is otherwise attractive but not very tall, he usually doesn’t seem to have a problem getting women. Also, an unattractive tall man often doesn’t have a lot of women after him.

Are you sure you have a feminine face or do you just have a young face? I’m sure that will change over time. Have you thought of growing a neatly trimmed beard to help you appear older and more masculine? From your description, I think you’ll be fine. Just interact with women in a friendly way without expecting anything in return and eventually you’ll find someone you connect with. Women don’t tend to gawk at random men the way men do with women. That’s not the best way to gage their interest.
/r/ExRedPill19/04/22 04:47 PM

I don’t think it’s unbelievable. When I first got with my husband, it wasn’t long before women were showing interest that wasn’t shown when he was available. However, I do notice that when a man is taken, he often becomes calmer and more settled. His appearance is less disheveled and he looks more put together. I’m sure this can have something to do with it.

It’s probably easier if you’re going for women equal in attractiveness to you. I see large numbers of married men who aren’t conventionally attractive. They find women who are on their level.

I have a hard time believing the average woman could have had sex with 50-100 men. It just seems like you have to be very social to always be in the right place to constantly find someone new to have sex with. How does someone go about making this happen? Like, do you go to the grocery store or something, see an attractive man and invite him over? I don’t know…seems kind of awkward.

I think “less” kids, meaning about 2-3, has been a thing for at least the past few decades. People want just enough to feel like a family but not so many that life becomes difficult and chaotic. They want to still be able to have the life they want. I get it, yet my husband and I still have 7 kids. Of course life would be easier with less kids but this is just what I was meant to do. What’s better than creating a new, precious life? I will do things I want to do when the kids are older.

I find that kind of comical. Maybe it just seems that way because certain types draw more attention to themselves while those of us just living our lives and keeping to ourselves go unnoticed. I got married at 21 and I’m still married at 40. I haven’t had sex with anyone else.

I’m turning 40 very soon. I don’t resent younger women but I do think they’re kind of annoying sometimes. They often have this know it all attitude that comes from a lack of life experience. It’s not a big deal though, as I’m usually indifferent to them. I don’t feel like the world has turned on me. Women of any age can get respect and admiration simply by being decent people. Getting dopey stares from random men isn’t everything.

Are you sure that’s the majority of men? I have only had sex with my husband, but before him I wasn’t running into a lot of men who praised me for being cautious about who I had sex with. In fact, it made them less interested.

I thought there were multiple scenes where he did explore his options. Then his focus kept going back to Trish. He didn’t want a wild party girl. He wanted someone more on his level. But yeah, I’m not sure if it’s worth it when there are kids involved. If Andy had kids of his own, that would be one thing, but going from no kids to having three that aren’t yours…umm…no. Maybe it made him happy to have an automatic family, but personally, I’d prefer to stay single rather than get involved in that …

Yes, it’s mostly just perception. I’m married but if I were single and looking for someone, I’d probably assume a man wasn’t interested in me or possibly unavailable if he seemed occupied or lost in his own world. However, I don’t think introverted men are any less attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/21 03:59 AM

I’m aware that we can’t read everyone just by their demeanor. I just think an introverted person is more likely to come across as someone who wants to do their own thing whereas someone who is more extroverted naturally tends to let people know they’re open to conversing. I’m introverted myself. I don’t consider it a flaw. But I do know I’d probably draw more attention if I put myself out there.

I don’t think that’s the case. It’s just that introverted people put out “leave me alone” vibes.

I guess I still don’t understand how that’s different from couples who waited a little longer to marry. Getting busy with life happens to everyone. There are advantages to marrying young as long as both people are putting effort into the marriage. You are more likely to get the best pick and don’t get all the baggage that comes from being with someone who has been in multiple relationships before you. But maybe I’m getting a little off topic.

What does getting married early have to do with sexual frequency?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 06:28 PM

But it’s not just casual fun no matter how much people try to make it seem that way. A married couple who has devoted themselves to each other almost always do better than those who hop from one person to the next.

If you go into it with the right attitude, it’s pretty nice having that one special person to go through life with. You also get lots of babies, and what’s better than that? Sure, it’s not always fun when the kids are little, but if you look at the big picture, the rewards will pay off over time.

There are plenty of women who married their husbands young and stood by them through their struggles- only to then be cheated on when these husbands have options and want to explore what they think they missed out on. It’s wishful thinking for a woman to assume she’ll be rewarded for her loyalty.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/21 07:45 AM

There’s some truth to this. I met my husband at work but wasn’t really involved with him until months later. During this time, he could have been with anyone. No one showed any interest in him. Within the first few months we were together, other women started showing him a little more attention. And like you said, it only increased after we married. Granted, I don’t think they all knew he was involved with someone. I think part of it was that I cleaned him up and calmed him down.

Sometimes it does get better, especially if they married and had kids young and had to work out the kinks in their marriage. I’ve seen plenty of real life examples where couples are happier with each other later in life than they were when they were young.

Those are his problems, not mine. Nothing about me that he had a problem with in the beginning has magnified over time, as the post says. I wouldn’t even say that I was immature in my early 20s. My bs detector just wasn’t as strong as it is now. I was more unsure of myself and second guessed my feelings more than I do now. And yes, we’ve had our issues.
