3	"What other people think of you is none of your business" and similar quotes: how true are they? I think this is a really good question. From my experience, not caring what others think doesn't necessarily have to translate to complacency, although it might. If someone is truly happy being the way they are, even if they are rude or act in a crass way or have no hygiene standards, for example (what I think most people would find unacceptable...) then I do think they should just "keep doing them". I'm especially not keen on the current "millennial girl" trend of pastel pink, chokers, and crop tops. It's a cute look but it's young looking and a little overdone. I find that timeless pieces are best, and even a plain black top with a nice neckline can look nice and well put together if it fits well. I think paying attention to the silhouette and general quality of the fabric helps too and is much better in the long run than following trends.
