5'9 is in the 50th percentile for men in the US, so the height requirement eliminates 50% of all adult men.

I'm always confused what people mean when they say make a man wait for sex. Like what level of intimacy is allowed during the waiting period? I don't think I'd have an issue waiting 2-3 months for sex if we're making out, cuddling, sleeping in the same bed, maybe some hand or oral stuff. But if we're keeping 6 feet apart for 2-3 months than I don't see why any guy would stick around for that long because it would seem like the person you're with doesn't like you very much.

The part about essentially never being single as an adult probably the most interesting part. Women on here pretend like if you're unattractive you'll only get used for sex but if you select from the thousands of opportunities you get correctly it's pretty easy to find decent LTRs as a woman.

That's a lot of words to say women will talk shit about other girls who want the same dude they do.

Kinda depends on the context. A close friend who I've told I've expressed romantic interest in? Be nice about it without leaving any hope open on my part. "Sorry, I don't feel the same way" is probably good enough. Some random girl I meet at a bar? "Sorry I have a boyfriend" even if you don't is fine. Tinder? Just unmatch me.

What proportion of women aged 18-30 do you think have nude photos of themselves on their phones? It's got to be greater than 50% right? Maybe it's my terminal online-ness but seems like taking and sending nudes to people is pretty standard operating procedure for most women today.

I mean there is a lot of truth in trans people being more likely to be the victims of violent crime -> Source A lot of straight men are about to get fooled in the future Also a ridiculous statement, trans people make up less than 1% of the US population. The proportion that are MtF, interested in fucking men, and are passing enough to fool someone is a fraction of that fraction.

Right it's one thing to like certain features or maybe a certain hair color. It's a completely different thing to make the race of the person you date the top priority to the exclusion of all others.

emotional maturity, reliability when it comes to making good decisions, value as a long-term partner or spouse, and in the sense of having their lives together It's real hard to judge this when most of their profiles just say some combination of I like traveling I like the office I like to laugh/have fun Of the very few I actually match and have any semblance of a conversation with? How many men die, are physically disabled, or acquire serious physical injury as a direct result of child support? How many men get postpartum depression/psychosis as a direct result of the hormonal imbalances created by paying child support? A 2009 study in South Carolina found that 13.2 percent of county jail inmates were behind bars for civil contempt related to nonpayment of child support. The whole women should sex-strike because of the abortion law is genuinely one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of. The majority of men support abortion and the difference between men and women on the subject is like 6% (56% vs 62%) If the dudes you were fucking before supported a ban on abortion...why were you fucking them in the first place? If you're looking for someone to blame it's white men and women who overwhelmingly make up the Republican party.

I recently stumbled on a forum where guys rate and discuss girls they met on that popular sugar baby site. It's been really fun read. Recently there was a lot of discussion on how to hide your activity from your wife. One guys said he actually took up swimming for 3 months so that eventually he could use that time to meet women without a change in schedule so it wouldn't be suspicious. One guy talked about how he makes sure to get $40-80 dollars cash back whenever he uses his debit card to buy s…

Similar experience with people who talk about how much they love to travel. Turns out traveling to them means getting drunk at a bar in a different state/country with the same 3 people they get drunk at home with and taking photos for their instagram.

I saw one of those Tinder data posts for a woman who had sex with 37 men she met off Tinder for a 6 year period from the ages of 21-27. She also claimed that 5 out of those 37 where relationships, so if the average length of those relationships was like 6 months she essentially slept with 32 people over the course 42 months...just off Tinder. So the best case scenario, in which she only hooked up with people of Tinder, she was seeing a different dude every 4-5 weeks. I guess what I'm wondering i…

I'm confused by what people mean when they say women should make men wait to have sex when dating. What's the level of physical intimacy that happens during this time because I'd happily date a woman for month without sex if we were holding hands, making out, cuddling, maybe some under the shirt boob action but I would drop a girl pretty quickly if I felt like we were completely platonic after a date or two.

Well in this case, why do I keep hearing stories of guys who emigrate to Asia, small European countries, etc. and supposedly find happiness there? Probably confirmation bias, you hear a few handful of stories and since it's what you want to believe they stick out in your memory. There's also a racial component to what you said about moving to Asia, namely how many minority women fetisize white men, but we're not allowed to talk about race here.

This is also why the, "if you're an below average look guy just go make a lot of money" thing is so dumb. People date/marry within their own socioeconomic class. So for your money to make you attractive to someone it'd have to be someone significantly more poor which would mean they also have completely different values/attitudes. There's a reason you don't see a bunch of overweight CS nerds dating hot hood rats.

If your premise that women don't leave bad marriages because a lack of experience was true, wouldn't that mean most women would also never leave their first boyfriend since in that case they also have nothing to compare it to?

“Contrary to conventional wisdom, when it comes to sex, less experience is better, at least for the marriage,” said W. Bradford Wilcox, a sociologist and senior fellow at the Institute for Family Studies (and an Atlantic contributor). In an earlier analysis, Wolfinger found that women with zero or one previous sex partners before marriage were also least likely to divorce, while those with 10 or more were most likely. These divorce-proof brides are an exclusive crew: By the 2010s, he writes, jus…

Alcohol or drugs are involved So what you're advocating is to find women who are inebriated, can't fully consent, and have sex with them? That seems really fucked up dude.

When people on this sub talk about the "power dynamic" in relationships with a large age gap or how the older man is "manipulating" the younger woman, what does that actually look like? I mean like a step by step guide. I feel like if I went up to a 19 year old woman she'd laugh in my face. How do I use my old man powers to get younger women?

I think what PPD misses when talking about sexlessness among men is that it's not just about getting laid. You also don't have any form of intimacy, connection, or companionship. A life without those things full of alienation and isolation leads to the kind of stats in the OP.

It's almost certainly a symptom of a larger issues. The men you see here and online complaining about a lack of success with women aren't complaining that they can't find a girl who looks like their favorite pornstar who'll engage in dangerous wild sex. They're complaining that they receive little to no female attention. That they're OLD profiles are barren and are ignored or called a creep if they try to talk to women in real life. I think claiming that porn is a replacement for sex is pretty r…

I don't think meeting men is the only reason they go to bars but that's definitely part of it. No group of women go to a bar or club wishing no hot guys talk to them that night. A big part of it is probably that they can post videos of themselves at bar having "fun" on their Instagram stories, snapchats, or whatever so that it seems like they're living a fun wild life. You don't see women saying "I scored Chad's dick in the club toilet, winning!" I've definitely seen women say things like, "I ca…

As nice as it would be if this was true, I think the real reason is that there simply isn't a difference between a woman at 21 vs her at 26 or even early 30s if she's still single/childless. Their weekends are spent at bars, wooooing loudly when Cardi B is played, taking shots, and trying to find a chad.

I think this is probably a result of the sexlessness many men are facing today. What's the point of going out to a bar and drinking if the women there won't give you the time of day? As much as people want to believe places like bars and clubs are just for entertainment they are and always will be places where people go to meet others they want to date/bang.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 07:21 PM

I don't think they do. I mean there's the whole karen stereotype of an older angry white woman berating service workers for some trivial reason. Older women are just as narcissistic and entitled but also incredibly bitter because they never got the Chad they deserve and no longer get the attention they crave.

The only times I've seen guys lower their N count is when it'd be hard to explain their real number. For example, a friend who's been in a relationship for the last 8 years would have a hard time explaining why his is so high without having to admit that he cheats or the other unattractive perpetually single guy I know couldn't tell people his number was in the 100s without having to also admit that he frequently visits sex workers.

Being significantly overweight is a literal anchor on any type of social activity. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. People treat you worse, are less likely to want to associate with you, and your SMV/RMV is pretty much zero if you're a man. I am about 40lbs overweight right now and if I could flip a coin and if it was heads I'd be a normal BMI and if it was tails I'd drop dead immediately I would not even think twice about flipping that coin.

First of all I'd say your characterization of tinder and others as just a "hook up" app is wrong. Most people under 30 these days are on at least one and this is where most people meet the person they end up in a long term relationship with. But to answer your question; everywhere. I've got a few friends who are extremely attractive and everywhere they go they get attention from women. At their jobs, at school, at bars/clubs, they have women message them on social media. My statement that the majority of women find bisexual men less attractive is pretty much an established fact. This study from 2019 surveyed straight women, who make up the majority of women, and confirmed it yet again. Results indicated that heterosexual women rated bisexual men as less sexually and romantically attractive, less desirable to date and have sex with, and less masculine compared to straight men. No such differences were found for heterosexual and gay men’s ratings of female and mal…

A lot of women, maybe just as many women fantasise about a threesome with another man. 100% not true. Maybe certain, mainly white & super woke, women do but most have no interest in actually becoming a spit roast for two dudes. Also currently women rate bisexual men as less attractive and report they're less willing to date them. Maybe that changes if everyone is bi but I'd bet money that it wouldn't since women would probably still find the same, masculine, characteristics attractive. So all yo…

I'm genuinely curious how a guy is supposed to ask out 100's of women per year. Like if you average 1 or 2 non-bot non-onlyfan seller matches a month on dating apps that gets you to ~75 a year. Where am I supposed to find the rest? Should I be spending every weekend at a bar trying to find a woman? Going up to cute strangers in the street or in stores and hoping they're single? How much time should I be spending on an individual woman before asking her out?

After all, manic pixie dream girl trope didn't came out of nowhere, it was born out male fantasy of an extrovert girl with no emotional baggage who will save a basement dweller from his boredom and loneliness. I don’t think this is just a male fantasy. It’s why you see movies like Crazy Rich Asians, 50 Shades, Pretty Woman, and Cinderella where some incredibly handsome and rich man sweeps some incredibly milquetoast woman off her feet and takes her away from her incredibly mundane life.
