| -1 | Married and Lost DesireI just want to say that dude Andrew Huberman has some good podcasts about the nature of dopamine and motivation. I'll paraphrase, (obviously everybody is different on how easily they release dopamine) - but seems like dopamine is released to motivate you to seek reward driven behavior, and obviously you get some dopamine once you obtain the reward. So aside from disbelief in monogamy, you're probably just recognizing that dopamine does not drive you long term through too much exposure to a partn… | /r/askMRP | 26/01/23 11:35 PM |
hitting the wall and settling for mr wrongI sympathize with your situation and hope you find happiness. I just wanted to mention this in case it helps. This current partner is demonstrating personality traits that are sure to guarantee a difficult future with him. I'm using the Big 5 personality system to judge him, and it sounds like he is low in conscientiousness (lazy) and high in disagreeableness. When deciding to have children with someone you also need to see what kind of co-worker parent they will be. Someone who is low in consci… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/04/22 09:19 PM
Did Porn and Social media ruin young men's perspective on life?I'll disagree mostly. You aren't accounting for the fact that people are born with a wide range of personalities that are genetically dictated. What you are thinking may only apply to how your personality leans, so if you lean neurotic, this would be the type of idea you'd have. Look up the big 5 personality concept. Social media definitely has more of an influence on women, heard this from a guy who found research showing teen girls lives (suicide rates) statistically changed after Facebook/Twi… | /r/askTRP | 01/05/21 07:37 PM
Married with ChildrenI'll give my advice man, since I have a somewhat similar situation as yours, and I have some thoughts that might help you understand but definitely not fix the situation. There is no fix, not in the way you want, you can't change her or your personality, but maybe if you see things from another angle, it'll help you accepting this, and moving forward acknowledging what you have to compromise if you are set against divorce. My opinion is not going to be a traditional red pill strategy btw. Google… | /r/askMRP | 23/07/20 04:35 AM
Skin CareGetting enough collagen in your diet will do the most for your skin quality bruh. | /r/askMRP | 17/12/19 04:45 PM
How do you get out of your own head?I'm going to suggest you increase prebiotic fibrous foods to your diet to improve your gut biome and decrease anxiety. Barley, asparagus, oatmeal, whole grains, root veggies, honey, nuts, seeds, beans, apples, onions, leeks, bananas, chickpeas, lentils, artichokes. A lot of smart people are thinking that anxiety is exacerbated by an unhealthy gut microbiome, google that shit. Also, advice #2, my understanding is that anxiety is a personality trait called "emotional stability /neurotic ism" in ps… | /r/askTRP | 29/09/19 05:10 AM
Extreme fatique/mood changes/iritability/sleepiness after ejaculation, why and what to do?I'm going to suggest you increase prebiotic fibrous foods to your diet to increase your serotonin production. Barley, asparagus, oatmeal, whole grains, root veggies, honey, nuts, seeds, beans, apples, onions, leeks, bananas, chickpeas, lentils, artichokes. If you aren't eating enough of these, then you're not giving the bacteria in your gut the food they need in order to thrive and produce that nice serotonin for you to feel happy. I'd say healthy gut microbiome has more to do with regulating yo… | /r/askTRP | 29/09/19 04:40 AM
The problem with women that have tattoos, and why its a major red flagGoogle "openness to experience" with regards to the big 5 personality traits. Having tattoos merely displays a high openness to experience, that is all. Someone who is open to experience may be seen as risk taking, or more likely to cheat, but I doubt there is any scientific proof of that, probably just personal opinions. Openness to experience is a real genetic personality trait that both men and women have. Personally I find that people with similar openness get along with each other more easi… | /r/TheRedPill | 20/09/19 02:22 AM
Why have male attraction standards for looks increased so much relative to female standards?I'm borrowing off of other peoples thoughts on this, what I remember them saying is to look at nature, in some mammals where the strongest male gets most of the mating opportunities and other males get leftovers, the alpha mates indiscriminately with no regard for female looks. In humans, since we aren't Gorillas where there is a clear alpha who gets the most sex and is indiscriminate, it's conjectured that females must have started to select for attractiveness first. Mating in humans is more of… | /r/askTRP | 26/06/19 09:27 PM
What to do when shit tested by men ?What are your thoughts about a buddy that does throw cockblocks in front of ladies? Is that a sign that he can't be trusted to be a legit homie in your experience? | /r/askTRP | 18/06/19 10:25 PM
Self improvement is masturbation. What to make out of it?Wasn't this from Fight Club? Man I always though that it sounds sort of profound, but I don't know that it truly is. Sam Harris would argue that the majority of the idea of the self is an illusion since it isn't a thing, more of a process that tends to vary according to how we feel during different contexts. Some dudes have a healthy and strong sense of self early in life, some might take until their peak SMV years to really grow into a comfortable sense of self, everyone is different, but I thi… | /r/askTRP | 09/05/19 11:15 PM

How certain traits from the Big Five Personality paradigm may challenge how easily you ‘maintain frame’Yeah, it's probably not complete, but I have found it very useful the past couple of years to gauge people and myself. When you are looking for it, it's very noticeable how people advertise the big 5, the are almost shouting where they lie within the bell curves of each trait. | /r/TheRedPill | 12/12/18 11:26 PM
How certain traits from the Big Five Personality paradigm may challenge how easily you ‘maintain frame’Thanks. Just my opinion on the typical big 5 traits in the alphas I personally know. Or the alpha traits that work in a pick up scenario best, like in a club or bar. You are right, there are variations of it that are still alpha in other situations. I believe alpha can be situational state, and sometimes the introvert, high Conscientiousness, low openness, guy might be be recognized as the alpha (like in a religious club for example). | /r/TheRedPill | 12/12/18 11:22 PM
How certain traits from the Big Five Personality paradigm may challenge how easily you ‘maintain frame’I like what you've said a lot, and I'm not a scientist or anything, so my opinion could be off. But I'd like you to consider what if the cards are more clear than you might suspect. Check out this movie about 3 identical twins raised apart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7py4M_xFILk My basic understanding is that research about identicals raised apart shows a strong foundation of genetics in personality, but it's not everything-you are right. | /r/TheRedPill | 12/12/18 11:16 PM
