The original statement of this portion of the thread seems to think that there are no ladies anywhere. That's a pretty broad statement to make about an entire gender, assuming that there are NO ladies. I certainly don't know every woman on the planet, but I do know a few ladies.

I'm aware.

Well, thanks for the very thought provoking and constructive discussion. Have a good'un.

I did typo. But I do know that he would never "burn the witches." So, my point still stands.

You're someone who needs more Ghandi in their life.

One kid bites. Another kid pulls hair. Many would argue that biting is worse than pulling hair, but both are still not cool things to do. Just because the feminists are biting doesn't mean we should pull their hair. Then we're all a bunch of immature bickering children.

You're assuming I'm a dude. It's also not white-knighting to not feed the crazy feminists' fire.

So because they do it it's okay for us to do it? I'm not keen on 'em either, but if we mudsling back the exact same way, we're no better.

And it's because this subreddit does actually talk down about all women even sometimes that we'll never be able to fully logically convince feminists that MRAs aren't about women-hating, and are actually about full equality for everyone. They'll always find proof like this.

No- I do believe that there are still both ladies and gentlemen on the planet. Just because one group of severely mislead women did something offensive and wrong does not mean that there are no decent women out there at all.

Hey now. I'm against this sign too, but let's not go about making assumptions about an entire gender.

Well, if you'd taken a class with this teacher before and you knew she was nuts- why did you sign up for another one? To the college statistics, you look like another interested individual supporting her methods- not to mention the monetary support. I'm not saying she's right, but you have got to choose your battles better.

OP says that the course was in a college in India- an area of the world that still does have strong links to patriarchy. Probably would have been good to say in the original post- being that getting kicked out of a college course in the US for disagreeing with feminism versus critiquing feminism so highly in an area of the world that still does have a lot of sexism against women are two completely different things. I'm not saying it was right for him to get kicked out- but chances are he may not…

It is violence against women. OP fiance's point is that all violence is bad, and simply focusing on only violence against women is just as sexist as violence against women. Her argument is against the campaign, not that what that guy who killed a bunch of women wasn't sexist.

I enjoyed this- I really did. It made for a solid tragic ending and told a well thought out story. HOWEVER If OP's point is to teach young men that women are evil bitches, I strongly disagree with the whole "this is what we should teach our sons growing up." Villanising a gender- any gender- is not okay. There are shitty people from eveywhere, and teaching all children to be self sufficient and intelligent rather than blindly following loose promises is the better aspect. If OP's point is that w…

No one in their right mind likes girls that use men for shit. It took me a few years to figure that out, and I've lost a lot of friends because I did. Girls come in groups, and they all act similarly to feel part of a group. Chances are, none of them have actually thought about how they're acting like entitled snots- because all of their friends act the same way. There's nothing wrong with politely but firmly denying anyone anything if you don't want to do it- which seems to be what you're doing…

Well. Blatant sexism would be the other explanation.

Now, I am in no way saying that this is a fair or a good thing that's happening here. However, there may be a reason outside of feminism going too far. It's possible that the men's restroom was turned into a unisex restroom because women's bathrooms have incredibly long lines at times, and whoever runs this building was trying to do a quick fix to that by telling women that it's okay to use the mens bathroom, notoriously less full. That doesn't make this okay, or fair. It's simply a possible exp…
