And it's comments like these that make me like this subreddit less and less. Try saying something constructive instead of just bitching without accomplishing anything.

Depends on how you look at it really. For myself I'd like to make the argument that I'd personally find death less sufferable than losing the person I love most in the world. And with that sort of logic this quote kinda makes sense. Be sure to keep an open mind with things like this or you'll just loop yourself into a continuous state of disagreement with those who oppose your point of view. Widows are definitely the survivors of war who suffer the worst in my opinion.

I'd say this is heavily influenced by the mentality of "defeat". It's similar to how I'd have no problem telling someone that I fell off a ladder and broke my arm than to tell someone that I got into a fight and the other guy broke my arm. Nobody likes to show that they've been overpowered/defeated.

Jesus christ, this is the second time that the only show I'm watching now gets spoiled on /r/mensrights. I don't get it...

Nunavut isn't a province.

Canada actually had much lower crime rates than the US in some categories. This seems to imply that it isn't similar across the board.

Yes, in terms of living people. But more males are born than females. Generally speaking, males die more.

In my case, "human life" refers to the life caused by all the human systems working properly in order to create a sentient being. Again, this is a personal opinion type preference. But trying to judge something based on the definition of someone's preference is retarded. And Watermelon_Salesman was doing just that.

I wish my ex were as smart as you. She let me suffer through months of that shit without giving me details about the pregnancy...

... Obviously they make a distinction in importance between human life and animal life. Same reason I kill animals and eat them. But I won't kill a human.

Didn't wonder that, rather your comment is just confusing me...

Yea I've heard of this before and it's a pretty shitty problem. Though from my point of view that tends to only apply to cases where someone who's potentially a real victim doesn't win their case. Simple example: Accuse someone of rape, be unable to prove it and the case is dropped. So the rapist goes free and unpunished. In this case, the woman straight up lied about it, this should have no effect on real rape cases.

How would it make true rape cases harder to prosecute?

Speaking as a Canadian who has thrown a cup of hot coffee into the air to have it fall back down as ice, getting frostbite within 10 minutes in colder than average (though not exceptionally cold) temperatures is common. At -50 I can picture it being 30s exposure based on your skin conditions and how dry it is but even in Alaska temperatures that low aren't common.

Why do comments like this get upvoted so much on this subreddit? Your sarcasm is not helping the cause of this subreddit at all.

Men button up their own shirts from the other side so it doesn't tangle when you draw your sword from your left. Women button up their shirts from the other side because their servants are doing the buttoning for them and it's easier that way.
