and all I'm saying is that while to you and I the first step seems quite reasonable and small, to OP that seems massive and he needs it broken down, to the point where he doesn't need to say more than 'hi' to a girl to feel successful in a night yes, you could say that 'talking to 5 girls you don't know in a night' equals saying 'hi' to 5 girls but it might not be clear that in some stages of this confidence building exercise that's fine.

I think OP was just asking for some smaller basic steps and suggesting that while the community is good it would be nice every now and again to suggest some REALLY early steps to get out of the habit of not saying anything to anyone they don't know.

Ah, thanks for that. I did glance there initially but must have been impatient, I was looking for a list of terms. Not a link.

The fact that it's been 9 hours and it doesn't look like the OP has replied to anyone in this thread...

This is a really interesting point you sit here and talk so much about how many girls you need to bang before you marry the one you want, but the whole thing with marriage is that she should be one of the few you do amazingly win. How does one get so experienced that she's the one? That's awfully like oneitis you hark against but so much not...

Because we enjoy laughing at amusing imagery. Also, it's not the only answer here - the rest are quite solid.

Interesting read, so the key to finding a good girl thought seddit techniques is to scattershot until something you can achieve hits?

Who says he doesn't want a friendship, is otherwise committed, is gay or any number of things. There's not much information here and this isn't a sedditors failed FR...

Final Year Engineering sucks, I've graduated now. But all those contact hours in first and second year meant there was so much time for the bar between class...

Not sure of the difference you're calling out here between over generalisation and stereotyping?

I can understand defining behaviour, but it's awfully stereotypical. Who is to say the guy is not homosexual and alpha as fuck in his community - would he still be a AFC then?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
