When a marriage works it has many benefits both financial and mental health wise. The issue is the risks often times outway the very real benefits that marriage can offer. | 3 | For those that are good with their moneyI did this as well back in 2017. Bought a triplex and fixed up the unit I am living in then fixed the other units as tenants moved out. Now rent has raised enough that my entire mortgage is covered by the two tenants (when I bought it I paid 400 of the mortgage). It has appreciated about 150k since I bought it on FHA with 3.5% down. Didn't know what I wanted and played wow all day then moved to a different state. That was for a few months then she moved in with me.
