I have never had a social app installed on my phone aside from a reddit client. You can even disable facebook and all similar garbage even if it comes preinstalled with the phone as a system app. Not that there's anything wrong with what you've done, just saying I do not associate smartphones with social media and one can totally enjoy new tech without being involved with facebook, instagram, twitter or anything else.
