This sub has helped me a ton, and I know it will continue to help me get stronger to be able to recognize when I’m dealing with a LVM or NVM... Um YEAH. This is why I think too many women in here are way too quick to lob hurtful judgements at their fellow women. Women who are “pick me’s” are OF COURSE operating from a place of deep hurt, damage, etc. No one in their correct mind would CHOOSE to be that way on purpose. I know I certainly didn’t. I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m 38 and not some 20 something in a night club, but as a woman I kind of found a lot of this advice kind of gross... and frankly, some of it would really put me off... As a girl, when I read your post can I just advise you that it would have scared me too honestly. I think the mistake was that the very first thing you said to her was about her body and appearance, therefore “sexual” in nature.
