Your argument about them being able to sense it seems unlikely. Because obviously you cant lay them on first encounter. By default you talk to have fun first and inviting them for a sushi dinner was my plan. So in this case is it then a good idea to have this as your purpose ?

When doing the surgery did you fear for the potential risk of empty nose syndrome ? Aka the surgery making the breathing even worse than it was before.
