10	General Advice for an awkward guy going into college. As a girl who has successfully wing-womaned for many an awkward male friend, the best advice I can give is to join clubs, not fraternities. Find clubs you're interested in and chances are there will be girls there. Then you can get to know them in a low pressure setting. 2	What early warning signs have you picked up on to avoid "sticking dick in crazy"? Other people are mentioning fathers being absent, there are also the daddy was always around but never loved me types. Anything other than "I love my dad and he's great" should be a bit of a flag.
