Look, I take relationship advice from watching my parents and their stable 26 year long marriagem and, they never got really engaged, no rings, didn’t even had a party. They went by bus to their honeymoon, and took theyr sweet time before having me (not planned, by the way, the plan was over five years later). You don’t need those things to have a good relationship, you just need the person you really love and wants to commit for the long run. For better and worse.

I was going to say “Try reversing the roles to see men not being as into BDSM as before” but I just remembered how weirdly fetishized “Dominatrixes” are, so........... Yeah. Vanilla is still a flavor, only water should be plain.

For that and much more I’m a firm believer of partnership over romanticism. It might come across as cynicism, but if we want to share our lives with another person we should know how to work in harmony as two individuals in common grounds. It’s respect that comes from both sides and creates positive impacts in your life over cheap romanticism that can come and go with whims and wills.

This, yes!! I was taught so early by my mom that any man who treats their own mother poorly they’ll have no business treating you with any form of genuine kindness

It’s never worth to open a discussion with some men, so tiring and no matter how educated you are in the subject they’re the ones who are “right”. Better to leave them alone with their baseless opinions

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
