Yep he can microwave :) because he works and studies full time he has no time to prepare meals for himself, which is what we used to do. So I want to do it for him. Something high protein because he builds muscle, whatever is healthy is important too because he has fatigue from eating poorly for awhile now

Took my kids to the dentist and the loved how mature my 5 year old was and he loved asking them questions and acted like a lil gentleman lol My 2 year old ofcourse wanted to drive his toy car on the walls haha

Self care helped, appreciation and respect too. But i feel like theres a lot of stuff she left out...if i told my husband ouch he would laugh it off. A lot of men appreciate sttaightforwadness and arent good with just ouch. Also i cant sounds selfish....

Im studying in college, take music lessons, we do sports together...Is there anything specific I could possibly do? I always pretty up, run the home well, I find outing ideas for us...I just really want him to be romantic and flirt/plan/gift as we are more of friends than a couple

That is partly true, I do wish he could be romantic again like he used to be, instead of who he is now. He does show love in different ways like going to work, helping sometimes. But he could be on his phone or gaming or the gym and rarely notice me and if he does he just says a quick love you maybe so i dont feel lonely or bad..

Very romantic! And I asked him a while ago, I miss when you were so romantic and surprised me and stuff...and he tells me either that was part of courtship, or that now love isnt gifts and romance but its loyalty and responsibilities. And to appreciate instead that he works for us and stuff and thats how he shows love. But he used to be very romantic

I guess perhaps more self care is needed then, that is something I tend to neglect 😅. I always look presentable and all but maybe space from him to do more of what makes me happy might help

Ofcourse im all for self validation, and I enjoy time on my own. Laura Doyle explains in her books how following her methods can unlock a mans love, and would make him more comfortable to express love and be more romantic. Theres many testimonials Ive read here and other places describing this. I just feel maybe Im missing something. I try not to expect much, but it stings sometimes.

The problem is its a harsh winter where I am, not much to do because of lockdown, and its quite a hassle to get the kids out of the door let alone taking care of them when were out, also have no one to babysit them 😔. As for self care i guess the most I do is just read, having my morning coffee 😅.
