the wife who filed divorce on a shoddy accusation and never looked back Quite possible this guy didn't look back, his wife abandoned him over the first sign of trouble based on allegations from a complete stranger. He probably has some righteous anger towards her for how she acted

Backing up your point with evidence not found in the link you posted. https://dailysunpost.com/man-jumps-from-balcony-after-woman-he-refused-to-have-sex-with-pulls-gun-on-him/ This appears to be the woman in question.

They probably wasted a lot of time just exploring the idea she was lying and having to trace her actual steps plus a warrant for the CCTV.

I really appreciated that they didn't make pines character some kind of bumbling idiot. Instead he was totally competent, exactly how many female sidekicks are written these days.

Scientists have been screaming about how everything is going to go downhill in 5 years time for the last 30 years. Yet it still hasn't. I don't doubt that our environment is changing, but I question the accuracy of their current proposed timeline. Point is, I think the planet will survive 8 years of Trump without any issue, and the USA is hardly close to the worst offender anyway when you see what China is doing.

Because goresuch and scalia were an even trade, both were very similar. Kennedy, while appointed by Regan, was a huge deciding vote on the Supreme Court in a ton of cases, ranging from gun control to abortion to obamacare, usually siding on the liberal side of the argument. Kavanaugh is in the same vein as goresuch and scalia, making the makeup of the court entirely different. This is why democrats are protesting so hard

It depends on whether the father or family is capable of caring for the baby adequately. Forced adoption is a nice neat solution to people who know nothing about adoption, or who see the baby as part of the mother and eligible for punishment itself. If the baby is deaf like the sisters it would be hard to place for adoption. again, cannot pretend to know what the UK is like, but why in the world would any country NOT prosecute someone because they have kids? This is why social services exist, fo…

can't pretend i know how things work in UK but couldn't they just leave her in jail until the baby is due, send her to a hospital(since they're in town, and one will be very close) then send her off to prison after the baby is born? i refuse to believe that any well developed society has never run into AND fixed the issue of how to incarcerate a pregnant woman.

If they were mentally il, then put them in a fucking psych ward. you don't let someone go who committed an heinous act for 14 years. Seriously, consider their victim? molested since the age of 6 until the age of 20, to have their attackers walking and living free like nothing happened. ohh but hey, we just aren't equipped to jail someone? so it's all good right?
/r/MensRights22/08/16 02:20 PM

prison is a punishment that incurs cost on society. it's as simple as that. these women should be jailed with out consideration that the local prison can't handle them, but rather, shipped to some prison in the US that can. Hell, if they ever crossed a fucking state border in 14 years, their crimes are technically on the federal level now, making it all that much easier to find them some prison 2k miles away that meets their needs. or, you know, just hire a guard who can sign. what you DON'T do,…

here's the thing, the bias wouldn't exist any longer. The case would be teachers and students VS the district, not VS the teacher who harassed them. The district is opening themselves up to a potential lawsuit right now. While yes, women tends to have a bias in their favor, that won't exist here as the woman in question, or really the fact it was a woman who harassed men, would be practically irrelevant to the case(if one does in deed come of it). Assuming the case happened, then was won(lots of…

I agree, but the litigation will bring with it a warning to everyone else: gender doesn't matter, harassment is wrong. In the end, I think that's absolutely a win worth the price it cost
/r/MensRights23/05/16 03:53 PM

this is easily the best case scenario. why? Because workplace harassment laws are defined as an employer being made aware of harassment happening, and corrective action NOT being taken. This woman needs to only slip up again, and not be immediately fired, for there to be enough evidence for the victims to sue the school district in court and win. Note: IANAL, but i've been instructed by lawyers on the subject of workplace harassment in how to avoid lawsuits. The biggest takeaway they gave us was…

it's a mark of how fucking idiotic you are that in the 10 minutes since you posted this, someone besides myself has already downvoted you, on a topic a day old deep into a long drawn out debate. Peace out, enjoy your downvotes.

I took the time to check your comment history, clearly your not just trolling for downvotes, so why not actually debate this if you really believe that you are right? Surely you can see that you are harming your case with these flippant and idiotic replies that miss 90% of what I'm saying. wow, my whole argument was exploring the fallacy of the logic you presented. I don't think in a drunk situation anyone should be in jail. I shut down YOUR argument, not mine. You're agreeing with me and not even realizing you're doing it. I have no words.

Wow. I'm going to have to break down your response sentence by sentence, there's just so much in such a tiny response. Of course logic makes no sense to an MRA. No True scottsman argument here. You're classifying me in a group you think I fit in, thus 100% sure I must suffer from some affliction that the rest of humanity doesn't. but your argument still makes no sense. So, let's use two couples of 4 total different people, who all react the exact same way to the same number of alcohol: Couple 1: Person A has 8 drinks, person B has 7. They have sex. By your logic Person B has committed rape. Couple 2: Person A has 7 drinks, person B has 6. They have sex. By your logic Person B has committed rape despite having had the same number of drinks that Person B of Couple 1 was found to have not been too impaired to consent to sex…

so if you're drunk, but less drunk thank the drunk you wish to sleep with you're more able to consent than the drunker person who magically can't consent because they have had one more drink than you? So let's gender reverse this here: Woman comes in claims she was raped and could not consent. Police then proceed to ask her gruling questions about exactly how many drinks she had prior to the rape, going into very great detail if it's single or double shots, if there was any alcohol consumed afte…

On my phone so excuse the formatting. Insulin resistance: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insulin_resistance The body doesn't process sugars properly leading to weight gain and difficulty losing weight. This is also made worse because the government nutritional guidelines tell us fat and cholesterol are more dangerous than sugar. Which isn't true, I'll be happy to cite on this as well if necessary. I can't back up how many, but to be fair that's beside the point. It's similar to the ADA laws, do we care what disability someone has or just that they have one and we shouldn't judge because we can't physically see something wrong? Even if one out of 100 obese people have a condition then it's still fucking bullshit to harass them over it because you don't know if they do or not and frankly it's none of your fucking business. Stay tuned for another reply with those promised medical conditions.
/r/MensRights10/07/15 03:00 AM

There's so much ignorance here I don't even know where to begin, how about you tell me what false point that you want dispelled first.
/r/MensRights10/07/15 01:21 AM

I can provide numerous medical studies to back this up, it's not just a claim there is real science behind it.
/r/MensRights10/07/15 01:19 AM

As I've already said elsewhere there are numerous medical conditions that makes weight loss difficult if not impossible and promotes weight gain even when you diet and exercise. Also as the transgender community has shown us, sex changes are possible for anyone, so what's your point?
/r/MensRights10/07/15 12:40 AM

Many people are overweight for medical reasons beyond their control and there are numerous medical studies done which back up what I'm saying. Also what drain are overweight people on society? You may say health issues, and point out lower life span and while you would be right, you would also be wrong. Technically an old person is as much if not more of a burden health care cost wise, meaning everyone will eventually be a cost due to their own health regardless of weight. Overweight people just…

I think on the whole there's a few important reasons behind banning fatpeoplehate. For starters, it was against the subreddit rules and resulted in an instant ban to show any sympathy or consideration for a fat person. The equivalent here would be an instant ban if someone agreed with anything no matter how obscure a feminist said. Obviously we do, and allow that kind of discussion, at fatpeoplehate you were immediately banned for it. Their rules were specific that you were not allowed to say an…

/r/MensRights07/04/15 05:25 PM

I'm sorry you went through that, hope everything is going better for you now. Do you think the police and prosecutor's behavior was pretty standard or do you think it was an exception? Your story definitely sheds some light on what may have happened in the article.
/r/MensRights07/04/15 04:20 PM

if he had a recording, why would he be spending 4 months in jail? There's so many holes in this story... If he had a cell phone recording at the time he was arrested, why not immediately show this to the officers? Did they just arrest and charge him and never bother to question him? I doubt it, they were probably looking for a confession, perfect time to show off a recording. Yet instead, he was in jail for 4 months before charges were dropped? Seems odd that he spent so much time there, despite…

IANAL however, based on what I know from attending a management seminar run by lawyers about sexual harassment, I can tell you mistakes were most likely made, that may work out in your favor. first off, this is technically the first recorded incident between the two of you of her harassment. i'd like to see a young rich white guy get away with that(i'm sure he wouldn't). Something tells me he'd get the book thrown at him just as hard. This kind of "but I really didn't MEAN to!" defense really only works with women.
/r/MensRights17/06/14 08:54 PM

Which is exactly why it's dangerous to involve the police around anyone who isn't afraid to lie to get someone in trouble
/r/MensRights26/05/14 05:14 PM

the woman in OP's story already indicated she wasn't above lying to "punish" this guy. I think the chances she would continue lying are significantly higher than the chance she would either say nothing or admit her own wrong doing to an officer.
/r/MensRights26/05/14 02:41 PM

My wife just signed the paper yesterday for getting her tubes tied, never any question about my opinion of the matter(which I think is great). I'm curious if my experience is unusual or normal. This kind of decision should be discussed between couples but it's not a doctor's responsibility to make sure that happens. If people can't talk about these things on their own it's no one's fault but theirs when things blow up

With out more information there are just guesses. But from my experience I was bullied by a specific group of kids. It wasn't ever anyone different. Most likely it's the same for this kid. Kids usually know their bullies, what is to say these bullies would have stopped because of what bag he did or didn't bring to school. Honestly it's irrelevant and takes away from the real problem: the bullies won, the school sided with them and proceeded to force the victim to act how the bullies wanted. What…
/r/MensRights15/03/14 06:17 PM

Having been bullied growing up, I was bullied because I was an easy target, sometimes things I liked were used against me, but they weren't the reason for it.
/r/MensRights15/03/14 05:51 PM

So if he was bullied for being overweight, skinny or smart should they make him go on a diet, work out or fail some classes? I mean, obviously he's a disruption. /s
/r/MensRights15/03/14 05:50 PM

Still doesn't give the school the right to punish the victim, the bullies should have been disciplined instead.
/r/MensRights15/03/14 05:46 PM

The bag is what the bullies used to harass the kid, it's not the reason for it, just like it won't stop because he can't bring it to school anymore.

Sorry, you didn't even do the basics of fact checking before making your argument. google the woman's name from this story. The story is 8 years old, and there isn't a single version of it in which the woman denies the charges, but rather contends that she simply did nothing illegal and was within her right to do what she did. While that isn't exactly a court-admissable admission on her part, it's safe to say she actually did this.

This is one thing that has always bothered me. I'm rarely out with my son with out my wife around, however even still it's always on my wife to change our child while we are out. She knows I'm perfectly capable of doing so, but is also aware that many bathrooms don't offer a changing station in the mens. There have been dozens of times we've ultimately had to go to our car just to change our son. This is absolutely a Mens Rights issue, but it's also a Parents Rights too.

I'm not sure if laws are different in your state, but in california if a man wants nothing to do with a kid, doesn't sign any kind of birth cert, he cannot be compelled to do anything on the whim of a woman who claims her child is his.
/r/MensRights13/02/13 09:48 PM
-1

Do you honestly really have no idea what this is about? Today men can be forced to pay child support for children that are provably not his. Fully aware what it's about. And I agree it's a bunch of BS. We should not have to pay for kids who we come to find out are not ours, just because we filled out a form once stating the opposite. Fact should trump ignorance. The idea in the article wouldn't change that. At no point in there does it discuss the conclusion of what to do about child support pay…

Quite frankly, the feelings of the other person are not relevant to the matter at hand, which is the paternity of the child, and potential child support payments. In the grand scheme of things though, a man should be off the hook if he finds out the child isn't biologically his. especially if OPs idea becomes reality and we find the woman either lied on the birth cert or truthfully claimed she didn't know for sure. It'd be like saying that a man shouldn't have to pay child support to any child b…

that's an entirely different situation. What you're talking about is witnessing a crime. Not everyone witnesses a crime, and yeah if they are in the midst of doing something wrong while witnessing a crime, it will most likely come to light. having kids and filling out a birth certificate is a planned situation, why not plan a little bit more for the sake of privacy?
/r/MensRights13/02/13 08:25 PM
-2

While you can't role reverse the situation, here's a similar situation. Let's say a law was passed stating adultery must be disclosed to the state once a year. If you do not disclose it(and have your wife sign off on the form) and it was found you committed adultery, you would be thrown in jail. But if you disclose it, no worries you're good. That's essentially what we are asking here. Which is why it should be separate private forms. That way you can be truthful on the form and say whatever BS …

Sounds fine, but what are these things? I'm not actually sure what else fathers generally fill out. it's been a couple years. But if I recall, a lot of clerical information such as my address, previous addresses, name, birthdate, birth place, parents names, mothers maiden name, all that jazz. Felt a lot like I was registering enough info that if I wanted to bail I could be found. My wife had to fill out similar information for her side of things.

And? This makes no sense...there is not baby involved here, which is the entire point. Of course it makes sense. You're asking one party to divulge a secret at while not asking another to do the same. Men's Rights is about equality. The reason we started was because feminism took things to far in their direction. Right, but the issue here is that the man is on the hook for 18 years if she lies. I don't like the idea. For the fact that it doesn't create an equal stance between men and women(That's what we're all about here). Case and point: A man cheats on a woman 9 months prior to a baby being born. Nothing is mentioned of it on the birth certificate. A woman cheats on a man 9 months prior to the baby being born. She's now forced to either commit perjury, or confess. Especially with a new baby she won't be thinking clearly. A better idea is to have each parent fill out the form with ou…

while the event at hand really sucks, you can prevent things like this in the future. You can have the court order a mediator to facilitate transfer of kids from you two.
