You're exactly what this post talks about. Feel free to read the sidebar again because you clearly understood none of it. When this sub was worthwhile, a few years back, occasionally there would be strategy posts but it was no where near to what the core of trp is. Trp is a mindset and about becoming the best person you can be, through self improvement. There's many, many more areas to improve than simply "sexual strategy".

Yes, I too remember the days when posts were more broad and positive. The advice I see in both the posts and the comments makes me cringe. To be clear, it's ok to be a pathetic loser when you first see the sub. The point is to read the sidebar and do the basics well; gym, wealth, status, diet, forging positive relationships and overall improving. Sadly people prefer the get-laid-quick schemes to nail some chick and then be back to square one the morning after.

Yah I'm actually a dentist and also a big skeptic. But listen to someone like Shawn Baker MD and his scientific explanations and it's hard not to become more inclined to try. One example: why don't carnivore dieters get scurvy? vitamin c requirements for someone who has no carbs is much reduced, because glucose reduces vit c absorption. Yeah I've also noticed a similar bodily reaction, especially when I'm eating high carb Vs low carb. I wasn't aware that carnivore affects lifting so much. I remember Shawn Baker claiming his had increased but every person is different like that. This is your experience. Unfortunately a lot of people use antidepressants as a buffer to the world. They are not depressed anymore, but their lives are still just as bad. It's a plight on the poorest and most vulnerable in our society. Others also experience worsening of their depression. I'd be very careful using them. I think one should set goals, hit the gym and work on always improving their life. Keep it simple and you'll go far. Medication would be a last resort IMO.
