I work in a corona testing station which means i get closely face to face with hundreds of men every shift and stick a cotton swab up their nose, like you'd expect that to be the most disgusting part of the job, but no! When my uncle died and my mother was devastated my father and brothers literally pushed me towards her with the words "go comfort her" while they themselves were always hiding out somewhere else so they didn't have to deal with icky womanly emotions. These men have such silly notions that only apply to a minority of western women for a short period of time in the 20th century with fancy technology to take off some of the workload.
