1	What does this quote mean? I think it’s also notable that a lot of men who are raised in a very hierarchical social culture confuse “respect” with “deference” when dealing with women. I believe every human being deserves to be treated with respect to their humanity. I will always treat babies and children with respect and anyone I interact with. Deference however must be earned.
