I'd like to point out that there are people on the other side of the screen that are just boring themselves which leads to boring conversations that go nowhere. Just because a girl's attractive doesn't mean she can hold fun or interesting conversations. Take the load off yourself from time to time. If you're being yourself and she's not responding or is boring or she is making you feel like you're boring her, move on and consider it time potentially saved down the road. I have over 100 matches o…

Fake it til you make it. Even if you're not being sincere, I'd wager that there's a higher chance that you may intuitively become a more honest and helpful person in the process than if you hadn't tried in the first place.

Reminds me of something my grandpa once said that's stuck with me. "Man knows what man wants." Basically a little idiom about men (guys who are confident) knowing what they want as opposed to the boys (guys who are unsure of themselves). Granted, he was talking about a lawnmower he wanted as opposed to the fancy (read "expensive, but shitty") one my grandma bought him. Thanks, Pop.

A scenic state park, an interesting historic district, fishing off of a pier or dock (help her cast), ice skating, roller blading (it's okay if you bust your ass, if she's not good at these, it forces her to hold on to you), dancing (I'm not good at all at dancing, but if you to a decent bar there's incentive to hold your hand and get close), BYOB painting class, your favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant (if she doesn't like your favorite place, are you truly going to be happy with her?), museum…

My university has stuff like women's studies courses, sexual psychology, etc. Never taken one because I'm past my elective requirements, but would be interesting. Some professors who do lectures even let students sit in on them, but you don't get the grade.

I'm taking it easy and haven't really tried to get anywhere with women since my previous relationship last year. However, I just recently started dressing nice again when I go out and I definitely pull in a lot more looks than I did before. I even get compliments. I went into work (where I usually have to wear a poorly fitted tee and jeans) to grab a drink while I was dressed nicely and I got compliments from all of the girls I work with.

One way to kino that I just thought of. Basically take your hand and press your thumb lightly against her ear so the tendon covers it. Get close and say what you need to say, she'll be able to hear you and you can use that as an excuse to touch her ear / hair. Just don't be too aggressive with it to the point of it being weird. Now you're close, touching her, and she can hear you easily.

I actually listened to a really interesting RadioLab session about hair. Or at least one topic was hair. It was talking about how drastically putting your hair to one side rather than the other can affect how you look to people. They gave an example of how this one guy used to be a glanced over at parties and literally changed the direction of his hair and people actually noticed him. Super strange. It has to do with the fact that you're seeing a reflection of yourself when you're fixing it in t…

Definitely will do, I actually found out that she and a friend of mine go to the library after class each Monday to take an online quiz for the class. Perfect opportunity to sit next to her and get some talking in.

Replying to confirm I didn't stare, but I didn't look away first.

There's a girl in one of my lecture classes that I think is really cute. She's in a sorority and I'm not a frat guy, don’t know if that matters. I was looking at her today in class and we made eye contact once or twice and she'd look away really quick when we did but I didn't stop. I need to talk to her, but seats are pretty much established. Should I just walk up to her and say hey or compliment her? I think her eyes are gorgeous but I know that's a basic compliment.
