Perhaps OP means that even older women want to be approached. Not much is written about this demographic, and the way they meet up. I would agree with you in that seeing an attractive, older woman, I would assume they are taken. I also think older women are friendlier because they have more finely honed social skills, and greater confidence. You are right though, in that being in a relationship gives more confidence when meeting new people, of the opposite sex.
