1	Children Braces This!! Double check whatever order or decree is in place. It’s unusual that one parent is wholly responsible for all medical costs. There’s usually some threshold or language around how out of pocket costs are split. If you both have legal parenting rights, you both have financial responsibility for your kids’ medical bills. Your ex can go kick rocks if the order specifies this split. 2	Children Braces The braces thing is a complete racket. They’re expensive and orthodontists have started putting braces on kids when they have baby teeth & then do another “treatment” when they’re teens.
