The wage gap stats are as real as these. The problem is that they're very misleading. For example: the wage gap is misleading because it leaves out the fact that women choose lower paying jobs. On the other hand the stat that most workplace deaths are men leaves out the fact that men choose more dangerous jobs - not because of oppression.

You know that male children are more violent than female children? I explained the evolutionary reasons for the difference in violence in my other comment. Why does this sub only accept gender differences when they're convenient? If I'd said there were biological reasons why women were less interested in STEM everyone would agree with me. But since this is a gender difference that "looks bad" for men, people deny it. You're worse than the feminists.

Yes I can read. I was pointing out that the study is irrelevant, since the exam results that get people into universities are unbiased as far as sex is concerned. If you want to get to uni then pay attention in class, do the homework and revise for the exams.

Except examiners don't know your sex when marking your exams? Besides this very article says that probably the reason boys get marked down is because they tend to act like little shits in class and this biases the teacher against them - something any teacher could tell you.
