depends on how you live. I still have the same monthly bills that I had when I was married. but I have a LOT more extra money now that I'm not buying clothing and shoes that will be worn once. and dinner out twice a week. and saving up for a new minivan because the old one is just too old for her. edit:I'm in the US though. and in a more rural area, so things like food, utilities, etc, are cheaper here.
