I honestly wouldn't be surprised if there's a tell all some years from now where it turns out he had been raping her as a child. It kind of lines up with the whole family's weird demeanor

Actually my read is the complete opposite. In fact, I think yours is a total misread. I don't even need to be in this subreddit, or really have anything to do with it now, I'm happily married. I got interested in 2011, literally. This kind of stuff helped inform my 20's a bit, and in general was helpful for simply learning how to relate to people. Models is aimed at people who think they need dating advice, and he flips it on its head to giving you advice. If it lands, it lands, and if it doesn'…

1000% this. And it's reality, and it's been the reality forever. As soon as you become self confident enough to understand the subject at hand, you automatically start to want to become a better person anyway focused on higher core values. And if you don't, you actually still have internal work to do to begin with. It's kind of the thesis of Mark Manson's Models.

I also think the context of OP's post - it may be appropriate for him to seek more literal actual therapeutic help. They will be able to teach him in person how to slow down his thoughts and not allow him to take his thoughts and emotions so literally.

Dude the best part is that MGTOW gives you access to first right of refusal all the time. And once you realize how valuable that is the only woman who can even enter your life is one who values your values the way you do, and has meaningful values of their own.

It becomes easier over time because the longer you think in terms where you correctly measure your own value, the more effectively you can modulate and interrogate your own thoughts before you react to things.

Your point resonates with me because I have experienced it myself. I came here without any anger or disappointment spurring me on and so I can't really identify with the level of vitriol a lot of TRP posters exhibit. I strongly believe in MGTOW not as a political or social statement but actually just because of the personal implications and the terrific benefits it yields. Those benefits don't imply that someone shouldn't select a partner if they find a person who fits.

I sincerely hope so, because I need to decide whether and where I would want to raise a child, live my life etc. and I can already tell that the values of America are going to be difficult to teach because they are so in conflict with a lot of current policy and rhetoric towards everyone and everything. I think one of America's best traits is our ability to weather storms. Hopefully this is the kind that forces us to build a stronger house even if it means we need the roof to blow away first. Go…

The honest truth is that they've lost the plot. Nobody is sure what they actually want (on either side of the aisle) and they just parrot party lines instead of leading. My parents and many family and friends face the same issues you're describing. People do not appreciate how much advantage the US has by being a place where people want to come and the subsequent brain boost we have incurred - and consequent brain drain that many peoples home countries have experienced as a result. I don't reall…

That's always the greatest point I think of when confronted with concerns about society - is there some other time that I would have preferred to be alive? Thankfully, no. The world has always continued to improve for the majority of people. People suffer everywhere. But society also grows everywhere. About the Inquisition - I think it's always been there. I don't think there has ever actually been a "past" to harken back to, because culture, unlike your friend, is always moving forward no matte…

If your system is to be persistent rather than consistent, you will always be able to pivot towards success rather than focus on failure and you'll be able to hack your mentality away from rationalization. Consistency comes through persistence. Goals are for losers. Systems are for winners.

Thats what always gets me about trp... True conversion actually means making women simply a part of a greater whole. That's the real win. Not just success with women, the ability to stand upright no matter what.

I dig it. One piece of quick feedback: on mobile if you are coming to the base site, the conversation threads that you see at a base level don't seem to embed into threads. So you're seeing top-level comments and in-thread replies at the same level. Is that intentional? I'm on Android, using a chrome browser. Thanks again for the good work.

I agree that it affects us, and I don't care whether the politics "chat" exists or not, I simply meant that when someone first discovers the red pill, I wouldn't want their first experience to be a bunch of political memes. That's what allows hard left sympathizers to paint us all a certain way. We're NOT homogenous. I suppose that I personally am very attached to the fight club rule because it forces TRP to be an individual journey of discovery, something that is guaranteed to improve any man's…

Their literal mission statement is actually a bit more aggressive than TRP's, interestingly.
/r/TheRedPill01/10/19 11:39 PM

I'm more concerned that that community is so loud that it will clog up what people actually come to TRP for, though. This sub has already started to have more and more of that kind of random political shtick, and I don't really care, but I think it's a distraction from the mission.

Agreed, and further to your point, sometimes I read threads like this and think, "what is it about life that makes someone assume that their life should inherently be happy, and easy, especially after taking TRP to heart?" I think a core reality of actually internalizing TRP is that anything worth doing is guaranteed to be at least a little hard, and that's part of how you can identify value and build esteem from it. I can tell from family examples around me that successfully raising a functioni…
