What’s the point in saying that tho? Sounds like you’re trying to imply normal guys have some secret propensity to be a rapist or something when we have absolutely no relation to such things. Also there is tons of female abuse of men and boys that is just totally unreported die to cover ups and gender bias. Perfect example is the systematic mass scale sexual abuse of boys in the catholic church by nuns and priests which was a holocaust in its own right and specifically targeted against boys and …

I literally just call them incels because incel is not a gendered term by definition even though it’s used as a derogatory term against men.

I’ve started recording every conversation in case one day something bad happens I can show all the behavior. I already went to the police but they said no crime yet. But I’ll have all my ducks in a tow if I need.

It’s unbelievable what goes on behind those walls once you are deemed mentally unstable. Sounds like an absolute nightmare. Totally inhumane man I’m sorry you went through that. Brave of you to share this. You are strong for having gone through that most people could never imagine it or last a day in your shoes. Don’t let anyone make you feel small you’ve survived through hardships they couldn’t imagine. May peace be with you good sir.

They don’t give you any tools whatsoever. Every time they “forgot” or didn’t find anything. Sleep Study? Forgot multiple times. Group therapy? Too expensive couldn’t find anything. Social Worker? Never got back to me. Psychiatrist? All booked couldn’t find any taking new patients. They provided me with zero resources.

Dude there is even a nonsense ideology that therapists shouldn’t even diagnose you because you’ll “identify too much with your diagnosis” I told them I totally disagree and need to know what is going on with me so I can’t understand the nature of the ailments just like going to any other doctor. They like to keep you totally in the dark. It’s such an ignorant approach to mental health. If someone has ptsd vs bpd vs ocd vs they need to know what the fuck is wrong with them.

Honestly, I completely agree. They don’t even fucking remember what you talked about in previous sessions. They would make me repeat traumatizing think that were difficult to talk about because they forgot.

My God I’m sorry. Please don’t share if you don’t want to talk about it. And perhaps I shouldn’t ask but out of curiosity for what mistreatment people face, what in the world did you face in those days in the psych facility that would make you say it was the worst days of your life if you are comfortable sharing?

Sickening gaslighting. I was recently abused psychologically by my family and they said some very disrespectful things to me and the reconciliation they offered me was saying “what are YOU going to do to let it go and let it not eat you up inside if we don’t apologize to you”. Reminded me of that. I’m sorry you had to hear that from that person man. That was not right. You should have been treated much better.
/r/MensRights02/03/23 04:28 AM

It’s gaslighting. People treat it like the staples easy button. Like they did their good deed now piss of because I don’t actually care to understand the complexities of your issues or if therapy is actually useless in your experience.

“That must be difficult”, “Why don’t you try journaling or making a list”. “Why do you feel depression is stopping you”, “and how” “and why”, “and how”… like bruh it’s a crippling condition you should know this your the mental health professional. Massively disappointing and frustrating experience and massive waste of money. What a waste. Every time. I now feel like I’m being gaslighted every time someone suggests therapy. I can’t wait till the day people stop saying that.

Oh, quite the contrary. Don’t you dare call my comment and “overly emotional rant”. That is a textbook tactic of an abuser that I have heard many times from abusive women in the past so it is not going to work on me because it is baseless and wrong. I’ll have you know that your own gender was oppressed with the same vitriol in the past when misogynistic men would denounce the issues facing women and call them overly emotional and throw them in mental institutions. Now you have learned nothing an…

What you said about child abuse in organized religion is completely wrong you have no idea what you are talking about. The Roman Catholic Church has specifically, for centuries, abuse specifically boys. Only a small amount of girls were abused by them by comparison. You can ask any victim. You must live under a rock if you don’t know this. It’s very offensive that you would even say this do you know how many boys suffered?? You are continuing to marginalize our suffering and try to brush it unde…

Objectively without question mens life is far worse in almost every major category, as the one commentator in that thread mentioned. This is not even close to a debate. Men are more likely to be charged more harshly for the same crime in a court of law. That is literally systemic oppression. To ignore these facts is nothing but marginalization and misandry. Worse I have had women laugh in my face at the suggestion that men could even suffer at all.

Another day to remind the world that misandrist nuns in the Roman Catholic Church raped, tortured, and murdered little boys systematically.

The Catholic Church likes to rape torture and murder us as boys for one and this occurs on a massive scale. Other than that we are demonized and our issues are laughed at and spit on. We make up the most amount of suicides. Mist amount of alcoholism. Men is general make up the most drug abuses and deaths, more homeless, most incarcerated.

Ok look, I think you make fair points and sound intelligent but I don’t know why you have to mock me and be condescending and give no sympathy to men how these things are bad for men. I will equally stand against abuses against women and yes I think that all of Frued’s concepts that you mentioned, pertaining to men as well as women, are barbaric. The penis envy and such are all considered draconian nonsense by modern standards. He was a monster who sterilized Prince Philips mother with X-Rays. A…

This isn’t even news in the sense that it is nothing new. The Catholic school have raped, tortured, and murdered specifically boys of a century and beyond. This a great covered up human rights atrocity. A Holocaust of abuse against young boys the likes of which you could hardly imagine. I recently read a memoir about a boy from the area where I live in which he tells about how in the 1960-70s boy where humiliated sexually assaulted mutilated tortured raped practically enslaved and brutally murde…

Yes of course as a sane compassionate person I have an issue to say the least with such talk as you very well should as well. I think Freud was a backwards monster. But now you are trying to act like “oh thats just Freud take it up with him”. No, it’s a sentiment echoed by the person in the post and many others that is barbaric and atrocious and we have to start to hold people accountable for this.

We can try to debate if we think they are literal or not. I don’t care. Using the language I mentioned is not tolerable. Just as it is not tolerable to use language like “we must attack the vagina” and “revive the terror of female genital mutilation”. This is bigotry. You are trying to backpedal and pretend this is just some one off author but she is echoing sentiments that are more widespread and contribute to a culture of hate and misandry that has devastating effects on men.

These ideas are spread by others on the internet and by word of mouth. And even joked about. Also, I was a smart kid and would read post and things like this as a boy. But this is part of a culture of misandry and you are trying to act like it’s so niche that it’s not a problem or something silly. Basically you are trying to speak down to me and gaslight my people and marginalize our plight as is typical.

No offense but I think it’s a silly idea that men literally are afraid of being castrated when the patriarchy or something is critiqued. That is a nonsense insult on male intelligence. I as a man do feel that way and I don’t know any who do. Someone who thinks such a thing has no idea of the male experience and you sound like a backwards minded person from the times of Freud when trying to describe men in this way. We are more than just are genitals for Christ sake. But we do have a problem when…

Legit every dope hobby is male dominated or created. Men know how to be gung ho and get along together. Boy scouts, motorcycle groups, fishing, chess, sports, gaming, mentoring young boys like building model trains and playing catch, working out, martial arts, golf, cars, etc you could go on forever. All men coming together through the bond of accomplishing a task working together. Some things suck nowadays like I was telling my friend it’s hard to meet women, which is a major part of life, but …

What do you mean by “he won’t be ready”? I’m sure he’d enjoy it either way. Even if men are not experienced men are men. Most are horn dogs by nature and have watched a ton of porn and will certainly enjoy whatever it is you’d do even if they don’t have experience to reciprocate as well. I get that he might not have skill to reciprocate from lack of experience but I want to say that I think women make waaaaaaaayyyy too much of a connection between a perceived lack of confidence or stuttering and…

You cant say things outright to girls it has to be implied. They’ll get spooked if you’re too blunt. They are skittish and want to not seem too much like a “whore” (a harmful concept mostly perpetuated by other women etc.)

Even one step further in my family I have had every women to different extents try to antagonize me and goad me into hitting them, sometimes saying “go ahead hit me” when I had not even indicated I would do anything like that. It is some of the most cruel and disturbing attacks upon me ever. I could never look at them the same way. It was something I truly didn’t think they were capable of. Don’t date a stupid beauty queen. Date another doctor or a lawyer. Someone of your caliber. You want you kids to be raised by that kind of woman? Think about humanities future. Of course the women would simply call that cab driver “creepy”. I was at party recently and this normal non-threatening dude was talking to my friends cousin (girl) and she, to her credit said he seemed nice but my friends sister and gf were saying in earshot of this guy how he seemed creepy. The same gf who also admitted to me that she almost didn’t date my friend (who I think is a bit of an ass) because he was “too nice” and that she only used to date douche bags. They just think anyone withou…

They’re nuts. I won’t waste my time. I’ve been learning things I messed up in school like some electronics concepts. I’ll stick to doing that it’s way more fulfilling. There’s so much endless skills to learn. And women will always look at you as a nerd for learning shit lol. Society needs to raise women way better. Luckily my dad told me from a young age never sacrifice your happiness for a woman.

Holy shit dog. My friends have been saying similar things to me. Idk what’s wrong with ppl man. The fact that they would say ur cold is not only insane but very offensive. I remember we had a sexist student teacher who would treat boys like criminals. We called her a sexist bitch. We were like wtf. Generally, boys were treated like criminals and girls were treated like angels. It made me want to spit in my teacher’s face. Plus girls saying, “Boys go to Jupiter to get more stupider, girls go to college to get more knowledge”... I remember thinking in first grade...huh, I’m smart, what a stupid thing to say. It sounded like some old school trope suggesting boys were…

They probably don’t have luck with regular approaches because women don’t give the time of day, so the are thinking they have to be much more direct and audacious in their approaches to stick out from the crowd and seem kind of like an alpha male. It might not work (hasn’t for me either) but I think they try it because nothing else worked (same reason I tried such things). You might be a girl who responds well to more casual approaches but many girls will either ignore or quickly lose interest a…

How do you approach them with Coronavirus? I feel like people wouldn’t be comfortable with me getting close to them. Also, I am in a suburban area. There aren’t really any places especially in the winter where young women walk around. It’s hard to think of a place to even meet them. (My biggest problem) The mall is probably my best bet. Or a coffee shop bookstore type situation.

A woman could ruin your life for promised joy or you can have the simplicity and beauty of sights like this in their serene and quiet peace. These moments are waiting to be appreciated by everyone all the time they are struggling. They will just be. They are not going to sell themselves as something thats too good to be true and then leave you with misery and despair.

To me one of the darkest things I have realized about women that actually mortifies me to the point that it makes me feel nauseous is that women cannot work in teams like men can. Look around at the world... there’s Boy Scouts which is much more legit than girl scouts, there’s online gaming which is overwhelmingly male, there’s tons of activities adult men do together like sports, hunting/fishing, motorcycles, clubs etc. (even terms like bro, dude... where are the female counterparts) These are …
