It's probably either "Mulva" or "Dolores"

I hope more guys get into "The Game". A bunch of tools running around with obviously canned lines and routines who don't bother to look into the self-improvement/emotional side of seduction will just make us look better by comparison.

I think you've answered all of your own questions already: ...I did all those things and had a blast.

What are you talking about?! I heard that if I maintain frame, stay in state, do enough warm-up sets, watch for IOI's, use negs, don't get AMOG'ed, build rapport, use an indirect opener, wait seven hours, plow through LMR, break rapport, use a direct opener, and spend thousands of dollars on books, DVD's and bootcamps, I can can get any girl I want! Are you suggesting that not every girl is going to be attracted to me, even if I do all that?

If she doesn't go home with you, it's obviously because you weren't alpha enough, didn't maintain frame, have a direct enough opener, build rapport, qualify her enough, pass all her shit tests, do enough warm-up sets, have an indirect enough opener, kino enough, break rapport, wait seven hours, have enough social proof, etc.. It couldn't possibly be that you just wasted your whole night on a girl that clearly was never that into you in the first place. That would be way too simple and obvious.

"We" don't. I have my rules, OP has his, you might have yours.

My favorite move: if you see a girl on the dance floor, walk (dance) up to her, make and hold eye contact, hold out your hand. If she takes it, spin her around and start dancing.

This has happened to me before. Trust me, it's oneitis. If you're that into her, ask her out on a date: if she says yes, great! If not, you can finally convince yourself that it's never going to happen and move on.

I just made a similarly introspective post about my childhood allergies. TL;DR: Although I can't say for sure, I'm reasonably certain that constantly suffering from something entirely beyond my control when I was roughly 0-2 years created my social anxiety, as I never really thought I was able to influence things outside of my very small comfort zone.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not "worrying about the past" or trying to assign blame for my own social stupidity, I just find this kind of thing incredibly interesting and was wondering if anyone else had anything to contribute.

You're overthinking it. Just casually text her later today to see if you're still on for tomorrow, and go from there.

Just make it natural. You're there with friends to have fun and talk to people, so do just that. Just don't be the group of people sitting in their own little corner.

This. If you feel she'd be genuinely interested and you can open up in a non-needy (positive, confident, and funny if possible) way, you're golden . Otherwise, stick to "safer" areas of conversation for the time being.

That's an even better way to think of it, but I don't think I can adopt that attitude just yet without risking a oneitis relapse.

To follow up on reems' comment, buy "Models" by Mark Manson. Then go out in the field. Better yet, go into the field while you work through the book.

Humans are technology, ever since the first cavemen used spears to improve their hunting game. If anyone feels like technology is controlling them rather than the other way around, they're doing it wrong.

Check out "Models" by Mark Manson. He breaks down exactly why and what kind of confidence is important, as well as (most importantly) how to go about building it.

Tell your friends you have cancer and get them to try to convince her to go on a pity date with you.

A bit long, but I always enjoy a good "then and now" story of personal transformation.
