Your tone is condescending (whether intentional or not), so your "call him out on his bullshit" tactic makes you come off as self-important, rather than caring for him. The dude posted one little snippet of his life, and you jumped to so many conclusions: I can tell you're [...] getting full of yourself Sounds like your girlfriend is the sum of a slut. You don't know the dude, or the rest of his girlfriend's friends. You just know one of her friends, yet you're so quick to say she is the sum of …

Peterson makes a great point. I've read a lot about how the gender pay gap is a myth, but never had any anecdotal evidence (examples) that I could bring up in a discussion to solidify my points prior to watching his video.. He puts it across really nicely, and, of course, his background in psychology allows him to portray the scenario accurately.

She probably viewed the daughter as an obstacle to her bank (read: husband), so she essentially eliminated her. This was a battle for resources and she was ready to do anything to win. It's baffling to see her audacity to deem the daughter's behaviour intolerable and request that action be taken to correct it when she (1) just entered the relationship, and (2) is from a totally different culture. These women are ruthless, I tell you.

For advice similar to "clean your room," you should mostly watch his interviews. His YouTube has interesting contents (his Maps of Meaning lectures are fantastic,) but they're long and you should listen to them if you're interested in what he has to say.

the facade of the lying mainstream media is slowly being pulled away Trump lies just as much as them. Sure, journalists should be kept to a high standard of honesty, but so should the President.

Arguing with them is a waste of time; their minds won't change. Instead of getting on their bad side for no reason (which could potentially bring problems/annoyances), you could've saved your time by shutting up and letting them believe in their fairy tales.

The idea of perfection holds many people I know back, including myself. People pick unrealistic goals such as working out 1 hour every day when they have never worked out regularly, and when they fail (which, 99% of the time, happens during the first week), they quit. Instead, they could've chosen to work out 10 minutes every day, then slowly (over the course of a couple of weeks) progress into some better system; unfortunately, they're too concerned with doing things perfectly the first time th…

[...] confidant, well educated/well read, etc. Isn't that a part of companionship, which you said isn't enough? My ex could cook, clean, and fuck me better than anyone I had up until that point but the cons outweighed the pros. You need MORE than that to sustain an LTR and only men who never experienced one would overly simplify it. Just because you were in a relationship with an unstable, crazy, bitchy woman, and that was too big of a negative, it doesn't mean that cooking, cleaning, sex, and c…

Although this topic's been discussed before, I think this is the safest way to go about it. It does seem a bit overkill, but better safe than sorry. Great guide!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
