2	What do you think about Sex and the City? Yes, I've not read it myself, partly because I had this belief Samantha wasn't even in it. I did flick through a copy once and it seemed quite different from the show. 1	What do you think about Sex and the City? I wasn't saying she was realistic. I kind of wish she was, because she had a very stereotypically male attitude to sex and put her own desires for sex first, regardless of what others thought. The other three were more prudish and always moaning about the men in their lives. I can believe that's realistic (I grew up in a mostly female family) I didn't even bother with the recent spin-off, because Kim Cattrall wasn't interested in reprising her role. You hear about homosexuality being made legal, but, in countries like the UK (and in turn, the Commonwealth countries it colonised), it was buggery that was illegal and lesbian sexual behaviour was never subject to legislation.
