I go to both subs. Although the way they go about their agenda may be different than say this subreddits method they make some points that are true just like /r/mensrights. Some comments are racist and sexist just like there are issues with the rights of men. Both subs also fail to recognize the other side. So yes the subs are quite similar in my experience.

I don't know why. I just think that the concept of marriage is pretty romantic. Sure you can live together forever and still be happy together but when you get married your souls are intertwined and two people become one (at least thats how it was described to me). Plus less judgement by society, tax breaks, legal benefits, etc. I won't have to worry about the negatives because she won't stab me in the back or ruin my life.

Tl;dr It was how I was raised. I'll start with my medical record. I tore my ACL twice both time playing sports. The second time was during school so I limped around for a day so I could practice in the afternoon (coach saw through the ruse and told me to not practice). Happened in China. Man got sued for helping a woman who fell down and the woman won. People would make sure that they did not help people on the street. There was backlash on China when a 2 year old girl got hit by a car and 17 people stepped over her because they didn't want to get in trouble. Once again I'll post the same thing. The school bulletin which was written by the club and approved by the school said that only girls can join no guys. It may not be the case for you but where I went to school if the club did not have to pay to be there then they are school funded. We had a church use our JR high as a church but they paid a fee to use it and used it only on Sundays. They also didn't have their information on the school newsletter.
