1	Woman who told the police that her Tesla that crashed was on Autopilot later admitted that she was on her phone I meant autopilot updates. To my knowledge every autopilot update does not go through government approval. To me the above is telling the customer that the hardware needed for full self driving is included so they won’t have to upgrade in the future, and that in order to have full self driving and to sell it as such will include laborious testing and government approval.
