Well at least you know that you can find a relationship I have no hope of ever finding someone who finds me attractive

I know and I feel the exact same way as you do (except for the sex part)

Damn I'd rather feel empty and have amazing sex than feel empty and not have amazing sex lmao fml

I've been told I was ugly by multiple girls before which destroyed my self confidence but I can also see what they mean I've got a lot of unattractive features

I don't just want a girl to fk me I'm looking for a serious relationship. I'm making very slow but steady progress with the confidence part but girls lose interest way too quickly when I talk to them because they know they've got better options than me

I'm going to college this semester and I have a job that I work at everyday but both of those things make me want to kill myself

Tried. Hasn't worked

And I did. For three years. I'm in great shape but girls still think I'm ugly

This only works if you're attractive trust me I've tried

And I do put in effort! A lot of it (physique, conversation, hygiene, cologne, clothing, education), but it seems to always be outshone by other guys who not only put in effort but also are attractive from the get go. What can I do to level the playing field?

But doesn't playing hard to get only work if you're attractive? I'm an antisocial introvert but when I ignore beautiful girls they lose interest and move on or just don't get interested at all

What a paradox, runnning to help a man who doesn't need any help and not wanting to help a man who does. I'm not expecting it from women nor do I think that I am entitled to it. Sometimes I do have emotional breakdowns (which I've already mentioned that I'm working on) and I confide in my friend but based on everything you've mentioned it looks like I'm gonna stay single for quite some time. Things are looking grim man things are looking grim

Yeah for sure, it's treated me really badly. I spent a lot of time researching dating advice, profile advice, conversation advice, and photo advice but after applying everything I've learened I've still had no success after 3 months. I've either gotten no matches, been made fun of, or ghosted depending on the app. And I've had no success in real life either. Dating feels pretty hopeless for me atm

My odds aren't looking too good then huh. I totally get the part about girls not liking guys who've been through a lot and are vulnerable sometimes. And the part about the traditional definition of a man being the most attractive to women. I'm doing what I can but sometimes I just need a bit of emotional support to pull through

I know neediness/pressure is a huge turnoff and I try extremely hard not to display it. So far I've been somewhat ok at that. Being accepting of another person's struggles and supporting them is important but for now I guess I'll try to focus on being fun to be around and make people laugh. Hopefully that'll improve both my outlook on life and get people interested in me

That's gonna take a while but I'll try to hang on until I do...

That's awesome and I'm really happy for you man! It just sucks cuz I've had a very different experience with shirtless pics (a muscular 5'5" guy isn't going to be taken as seriously as a muscular 6' guy) Weight can be lost and muscle can be gained but height can't be changed unfortunately

Yeah I wouldn't want to accept a fluke I'd want to be able to consciously make an effort and be successful. Maximizing my value is exactly what I'm working on! It sucks that the good qualities that I do have aren't ones that you can really see when first looking at me

And you're absolutely right, in a perfect world rational logic would be all I'd need to develop an abundance mentality but when I get overwhelmed by negative emotions it becomes really hard to think that way.

You gave a really good example with the consulting business! If I did have previous relationships or some kind of success I wouldn't worry about it quite as much. I'd be able to convince myself for a while that "it can happen again", but because it's never happened yet I have a hard time believing it. I have gone out and approached girls in real life as well as on dating apps but I've only been met with rejection so far and after a while I just felt so crushed that I couldn't do it anymore. Of c…

Very true, just saying hi to a girl can't hurt right? So basically become happy spending time with myself and create an enjoyable life? I mean I can try.... Man all I do is self reflect on my shitty life and find areas to imrpove haha But really I'll try to stay optimisstic and keep working on small steps, thank you!

Will do, and thank you for your advice I really appreciate it :)

That's a great point, I've never thought about abundance being anything besides dating related but you're totally right. I can't say I'm satisfied with my life right now (like at all, I hate it) but I'm trying my very best to create a full and busy lifestyle. I'm looking for a job, spending time with my family, exercising often, eating fairly healthy, but most of the hobbies I used to enjoy seem dull and boring now. Even getting out of the house is immensely difficult because of the constant sta…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
