I'm a natural introvert and I struggle constantly with the effort it requires to be social. I'd say do two things - push yourself hard to lose weight, and push yourself to be social. Find people with similar interests and make friends. The rest will fall in place if you get yourself together and start pushing yourself to be more social.

That is sad. I was one of the first few subscribers at SRSsucks after the old sub (/r/antisrs? can't remember now) shit the bed. SRSsucks used to be a solid place to discuss SRS without too much name calling and/or banning. I guess the SRSrs finally beat the mods up enough that they're jumping the gun. Honestly, that is a 'lesson' many subs have learned from SRS - ban anyone you don't like. It's easier to lie to yourselves when no one is asking you hard questions. One thing I've noticed is almost none of the anti-SRS subs ban anyone. If they wanna come discuss issues reasonably, they are usually treated well.
