Evaluation of Personality Perception in Men Before and After Facial Cosmetic SurgeryYep, thats bimax. When both surgeries are performed we call that double jaw surgery, although it's not really a precise term and can refer to multiple surgeries like maxillary impaction, palate extension, BSSO etc. It's also common to perform a genioplasty along it | /r/BlackPillScience | 16/08/19 05:35 PM
Evaluation of Personality Perception in Men Before and After Facial Cosmetic SurgeryDouble jaw, BSSO, genio, maxillary impaction... I'll even include purely cosmetic surgeries like implants or chin wings because it doesn't make much sense not to include it if you're studying cosmetic enhancement and perceived attractiveness | /r/BlackPillScience | 16/08/19 12:50 AM
Evaluation of Personality Perception in Men Before and After Facial Cosmetic SurgeryChin implant not making any significant improvement surprises me, but it's not that visible in a front picture so it makes sense if they didn't show profile. Now I would like to see the same study with orthognatic surgery. Usually, the results are quite striking | /r/BlackPillScience | 15/08/19 03:16 PM

"Although Mew’s theory does generate some plausible conclusions [...], the public needs to be made aware that [Mewing / Orthotropics ] is not based on sound scientific evidence," warns Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery group in recent editorial letter (Lee, Graves & Friedlander, 2019)It's very believable and quite obvious it works at a young age. The problem with mewing are people greatly overestimating the effects of tongue posture in adulthood. Notice how I'm not saying it doesn't work at all, there is dozens of exemples of muscle function affecting bone remodeling in adults but you're delusional if you think orthotropics are gonna put maxfac surgeons out of business. | /r/BlackPillScience | 07/06/19 08:50 PM
Women's preference for masculine faces not linked with hormonesDon't know, I haven't read it. It wouldn't surprise me either. | /r/BlackPillScience | 25/02/19 05:55 AM
Women's preference for masculine faces not linked with hormonesI've posted another study showing the same results months ago. The lowest testosterone level male was considered more attractive than the one with the highest. There was a little correlation (attractiveness going up with T levels) but there was a high variability in individuals. They concluded that high testosterone levels and therefore masculine faces were not more attractive than low T. | /r/BlackPillScience | 24/02/19 07:41 PM
If a woman is rejected by an attractive male, she becomes more bitter towards an accepting male who is unattractive.Oh, so that explains feminism. | /r/BlackPillScience | 22/02/19 05:56 AM
