Hi- I relate to this a lot and I think my perspective may help you! I went through something similar with my husband many years ago after he graduated college and started job hunting. He sent out hundreds of applications and it took him over a year to get a job. During this time I could tell that his self esteem really suffered. For men, their career and their role as a provider is a huge part of their identity. It makes sense he would feel depressed. And my husband dealt with depression VERY si…

If you like tights look into getting a pair of fleece lined tights! I wear heavyweight wool socks around the house often too. With dresses I wear cardigans over top, and I also like wearing long skirts (in a thicker material) with a sweater.

CNA or LPN/LVN! Edit to add that when I was waitressing I made great money, better than I do now as a nurse. The only reason I switched was that the hours weren’t the best

??? So you really think what makes life worth living is how physically attractive you are? That's really sad. Ugly people can still be happy. Ugly people can still make the world a better place. There are a million other qualities someone can have that are way more important than looking conventionally attractive. Plus we ALL get old and saggy and ugly in the end anyways and I plan to still be living it up in those years!

Humility~ shouldn't mean you don't know your worth, accept less than you deserve, or compromise on your values.

Lana Del Rey allllll the way but shes very "dark feminine." If I'm feeling wholesome, bubbly, sparkly feminine then it's early Taylor Swift :) I also feel it when I listen to folk music, country music, and vintage artists like Ella Fitzgerald or Etta James :)

Unsurprising take from user "EvilDom" with a profile I can't view because it's nsfw. Something tells me you aren't exactly the kind of man the ladies here are looking for 😄

Congratulations!!! I just got married too and saying husband still makes me absolutely giddy 🥰 Something I do- I always wake up before him and so every morning I make him a cup of coffee and bring it to him in bed. A small act but he always mentions how much he loves it :)

Just being honest because you asked- LOL no. Not then, not now, not ever, absolutely not. I married someone who respects and cherishes me and wouldn't dream of being unfaithful.

So everybody is different, but here's what I personally find the most helpful for losing weight - Download a calorie counting app, I've used a few and my favorite one by far is called "Lose It." LOG EVERYTHING YOU EAT even if you go over your calorie limit! Like even if you're consistently over your limit and the logging feels pointless do notttt give up on it. Pick a time to work out, for me it's right when I get home from work. When it's time PUT ON YOUR WORKOUT CLOTHES RIGHT AWAY. Once you're…

I don't think most women would know their BF%, with the exception of those who lift/gym. At least I know I don't

So the idea is that you do your vetting BEFORE you get married. You don't continue to vet your husband after you've already married him, that would be crazy. You married the best man you could find, with great qualities that attracted you to him! So that means that he's not a "beta male" and you know he's not. And if he's acting like one it means that something is wrong and he is likely feeling emasculated. You can fix that by working on the dynamic of your marriage and building him up into the …

Nursing :) I did a 12 month program and got my LPN! We got engaged a month after I graduated nursing school, currently been at my job for a year and a half. Planning on ttc in 2023 so if we're blessed with children then I'm most likely looking at another year or 2 of working. I love my job and feel like it was definitely a good decision. If nothing else it gives me security in knowing I have something to fall back on should I ever need to go back to working, since you really never know what God …

So I REALLY don't like how OP insinuates that she knows Lances's personality better than his own WIFE. Super inappropriate. And I'm sorry but it does come across like she thinks he's this super deep guy and her sister isn't good enough for him, which is WEIRD at best and jealous at worst. But all the posts on that sub are fake af anyways so I'm going to go with this never happened.

Not to be snarky at all because I support making the choice for yourself but I do just want to point out that COVID statistically is significantly more debilitating and likely to end in death. I work in a healthcare and we lost a perfectly healthy unvaccinated 30-something this week and it just breaks my heart that he was somebody's husband and father

It's idleness for me. Especially in the colder months I feel like all I ever want to do is get cozy on the couch and watch TV or sit in my phone. I really want to start cultivating hobbies so I can keep being "interesting" for my husband; I notice that he seems to be extra affectionate with me and finds it really endearing when he sees me actively doing my own thing instead of just laying around. And of course I also want to do it for me, so I can experience more things in my life and not just w…

The key is LAYERS! A long sleeve tight thermal top under a sweater, tight thermal long-John's under pants, double up on thick fleece-lined tights under skirts and dresses. Here's a great video on the subject as well!

I have a handful of tattoos I regret so I can relate to this 🥴 They're there, nothing short term I can do to get rid of them except cover them when I can. I try to think of it this way, it's somewhat of a blessing in disguise because it forces me to dress modestly! Long skirts to cover ones on my ankles when I can, and modest swimwear to hide a couple on my thigh. If it hadn't been for disliking the thigh tattoos I honestly might have stuck with the same style of bikini bottoms that show nearly …

If you're on the same page about having children- ask him, if we're both at work all day, where are our children? Assuming you're American at BEST you get a few months of maternity leave (I live in a blue state and I only get 6 weeks). Most men don't (and shouldn't!) want their kids being raised in a daycare- but they also have never thought about how that means someone will stay home, lol. From a financial perspective- you don't need to "hit the jackpot." You don't need a six figure income. Fir…

SAME, I feel your struggle! And the funny thing is literally never about the big things. Finances, jobs, house, cars, etc- yes my love whatever you think! But when it comes to the small day-to-day stuff- whether we get gas before or after grocery shopping?! what plates we use for dinner??!? I CANNOT shut my mouth I neeed to argue 😂 Working on it every day lol
