2	Help picking up women as a cashier? Normally, I would agree. But this is college. Work is transient for the college student. Unless this job is actually important to you, shmooze away! You won't learn anything unless you try new things. Honestly, I think it'll be hard to show any value as a cashier. (Unless you're the owner) A cashier is the lowest of low prestige jobs.
