It's also the worst thing you can do to your own life, so it's not like the parent enriches their life at the expense of the child. Both people suck. I think there's a gap between rich people and poor people. Both men and women alike get screwed for different reasons. And taking care of a kid as a single mother is hard as shit. Not that I'm a single mother. But it drastically changes the lives of people I know, way more so than fewer vacation days...

Feminists are the ones trying to retire female-specific job titles in the first place (movement started around 2010 fueled by Whoopi Goldberg IIRC), so I sure hope they're okay with it.

IIRC some gender-specific words are being forcibly retired by feminists in a movement starting around 2010. For example, "waitress". So yeah. Despite that movement, I don't think 'actor' will represent males and females equally any time soon. Not that I care.
