I've met plenty of lesbians that are truly lesbians. A few have been my good friend for years. I've even gone prowling with them at clubs and bars.

I strongly disagree with don't do nerdy shit like join chess club or computer science club. Absolutely do that shit but also do the other manlier "macho" shit. You should pursure your own interests as well. Life isn't only about banging plates. If you like geeky shit absolutely pursue it just don't make it an obssession.

Hyperbole much on that last sentence? I was with you on everything else.

I think that you have the right mind set. So, the following are really just my thoughts on the subject. Honestly, I think the best approach is actually not brushing someone off. Go and actually make plans for the weekend that don't include them. Actually having a plan to do something fun, social, interesting, productive, whatever. Make her fit into your schedule. Don't fit yourself into hers unless she is inviting you to something awesome or there is a good reason. You aren't brushing someone of…

I just checked your post history: "Anyways, I'm finding it really hard to get a girlfriend. It's probably in large part due to my social awkwardness and completely inability to socialize with another human being." You should probably shy away from making comments in real life like what you have written above in regards to race and "chinky ling long". You come off as an asshole and it really adds to the "inability to socialize with another human being" that you complain about. I am sorry that may…

YES, one big thing I learned from Seddit is to be my own man. It's so funny how much I have gotten out of reddit. It is still currently a work in progress for me. Sure, I may have gotten the right girl for me, but self improvement never really ends. The "be nice to girls" thing was also deeply ingrained in me by my parents. I was nice to everyone, but I found myself bending over backwards and really going out of my way for women that I was interested in. This was precisely the problem!

For me it was a matter of what she was asking for me to do. My standard was to begin treating women like I do any other person. I would just think to myself if they were a guy (that I was at the same level of comfort with) would I be doing this for them/with them? If the answer to that was no, then I didn't. I was taught to treat women especially well.... that was something I had to unlearn.

Thanks again man. Yeah this sub-reddit in general helped a lot. However, your comment succinctly said what I needed to hear. It's funny that I literally remembered your words three years later.

Actually I am Asian. Edit: Not that I should really justify your comment to begin with.

The difference is... there is nothing wrong with a "slut" that is basically a girl that enjoys sex and has lots of it. There is something wrong with a slut that uses sex to achieve goals and manipulate people.

Yeah, I turn 21 this Friday haha. Dinner dates are always a lottt more about getting to know a girl than kino escalation.

Thanks dude, I will definitely take that to heart. I love reading all of your posts by the way. Its been really enlightening.

She was doing it for like 5 minutes straight. I will definitely assume attraction. We connected really well on an intellectual level. The only problem was I did 0 kino escalation. Like none!

Yes, completely and utterly yes. I HATED what I read about PUA and I despised the idea of manipulating people for your own advantage. However, after facing reality and having my heart ripped out of my chest I turned entirely to the game with great success. PUA is reshaping my life and I am changing for the better. I have come to realize that manipulating people isn't really good or bad. It is simply something that is necessary.

Thanks dude, you basically voiced the exact attitude change I had earlier this year. I'm an Asian dude as well who wasn't exactly all that blessed with looks either and I was wallowing over that fact instead of actually going out and experiencing things. Over the last several months I have started working out a lot, improved my image, and I don't let my height or my ethnicity even enter my head at all any more. I have had a lot of success since then in life and with women. That quote is perfect.…

Dude, I know exactly what you mean. I started off faking confidence and instantly people reacted differently to me. I've been faking it long enough now that I'm really beginning to actually be confident when approaching women. I love your 4th point. That is so true and so many people forget that. If you are not having a good time it will be obvious to the people around you and no one likes a buzz kill. Just to elaborate on your first point though... you are pretty accurate in that being ugly doe…

Sighs... you are a total poser then. Your name is from the Drizzt series right? They are written by R.A. Salvadore as part of the Dungeons and Dragons Universe. Rolling 20's means to roll a 20 sided die and roll a 20, which leads to the best possible outcomes.

Oh totally man. There is no better wing man than a hot girl. I don't plan on ejecting out of the seat at all. I am distancing myself a bit because by god if she is not trying to spend every waking moment with me for christ sakes....

Thanks for this advice. I think I will definitely do this. I was getting conflicted messages to ignore her or distance myself, but I think your response was probably the most thought out for this situation. I appreciate it, fleaflicker51.

No, no haha if only that was an indicator of it working. That's just an example of how god damn hard she flirts with me all the time. She honestly confuses the hell out of me.

First off: your goal is wrong. You can't "get into an LTR". You take something from being friends into something more. Maybe it turns into an LTR, maybe not. What you want is to see where it goes. I completely agree with this. I haven't made a move on her partially because I guess I am being a bit of a pussy and also because she gives me very mixed signals at times and very strong signals at other times. Also, there has rarely been an opportunity where we have been alone. I should certainly be r…

I read a lot of PUA material available on the internet. However, for me a lot of it was about inner game and confidence. I've worked a lot on both of those aspects, but I am definitely lacking in making myself a more sexual person and being physically aggressive. I am not totally blowing it. I kino her and I flirt quite a lot my big problem is I also think that by nature I am just too friendly and for fucks sake I just need to make a god damn move.

Hmmm, this idea definitely has potential, but this would suck if it backfired. Actually, I figure it would only backfire if she actually isn't interested.

In my experiences I constantly befriend girls I am interested in too much. I think you are right here. The only difference is that I don't think I am going to cut her out completely. That might be a little drastic. Thanks for the advice.

Nah, I am pretty sure I am not being delusional. Just yesterday she texted me this: "Oh so now I'm a friend with benefits? And what benefit do I get from you my dear? ;)" In response to me saying that I'm so glad to know her now that her sister works at Georgetown Cupcake. (FUCK YEAH FREE CUPCAKES!!!!!! btw)

When dealing with women in my opinion being cowardice is being selfish and ultimately isn't fair to the woman.> What? It is selfish and unfair to women to be too timid to make the first move. Umm no. It isn't selfish and unfair. It just displays a lack of confidence when it comes to women.

Upvoted for sage advice. I just imagined that thought with a girl and the expression came perfectly to my face.

This brilliant explanation just made me attracted to you. If I was a woman I would be jumping your bones right now.
